Questions & Answers

What is the maximum weight that this bench can support?

There is a 300-pound limit. The product description on Amazon stated 500, which is why I purchased it (I am 200 pounds). Because the manual on the bench said 300 when it arrived at my house, I returned it. Hopefully, Amazon will change the description.

What are the settings for the maximum decline, in particular?

The incline can be adjusted in a number of ways, so that's taken care of. The decline setting is minimal, perhaps a 15-degree decline. It's good for crunches, but if you're looking for a 45-degree decline bench, this is probably not the best option. Aside from that, it's a good bench for the money.

What is the width of the seat?

The seat is about 12 inches wide, and it's not a great decline bench because it only has one setting and goes all the way down. I bought it for the decline, and if I had known that, I would not have bought it.

When the bench is set flat, what is its height from the floor?

When the upper portion is flat, it measures 19 inches at the bottom. When the upper portion is flat, it measures 18 inches at the top. In the flat position, it does not appear to be perfectly level. By an inch, the head is below the butt. In all locations, the seat height is 19 inches. This is the top of the cushion, with no weight or person on it to compress the padding.

This is a very cost-effective method of transportation
4/5

This is a great deal for the price and how I intend to use it. Yes, it's not as sturdy as the more expensive models (surprise, surprise), but if you're looking for a functional free weight bench and aren't using roids, this is the one to get. This is a cost-effective method of increasing your weight. Because the powder coating (or whatever it is) is so thin, it scratches easily if you bang some of the metal components against it while setting up, the welds do show a couple of spots of slight rust. It came with everything you need, but I wouldn't recommend using the provided "screw driver" because it's a flat piece of metal that's difficult to use ergonomically. To complete the task, use a cordless screwdriver or a good old-fashioned screwdriver with elbow grease. If you take your time, the instructions are fairly simple to follow, and the only major flaw is that one of the three holes for the base does not line up properly. Thankfully, it wasn't a structural support that I considered necessary because the other two bolts hold it together nicely, and because it was threaded, I couldn't do much to get it to line up without damaging the threads. It's sturdy enough that my wife and I can move it around without difficulty, and it's not overly heavy. To save space, I store it on its end, where it is fairly stable. As I previously stated, it is not in high definition, but it is adequate. The seat back adjustment is adequate; you must unscrew it partially to enable the pull and slide function, and then screw it back down tight to ensure that it is stable enough to lean heavily on. I've heard that the higher-end models have a different pull and slide system that eliminates the need to thread it every time you move it. I can see how this would be useful on a bench that gets a lot of use. That part, in my opinion, would also raise the price. The foam rollers simply slide onto the benches' end bars, but they're wide enough to be comfortable. There are two sets of bottom holes to accommodate different leg lengths. It's probably not going to be a big deal for you if my wife doesn't complain about it. )br>br>To summarize, if you're looking for a low-cost free weight bench, this is likely one of your best options. It's nice enough to be useful for less-than-Mr. Universe workouts, but not so nice that it makes you feel bad when it turns into a nice place to hang clothes when you fall off the wagon. We've all been in that situation- Continue to pursue it!.

The door was not too large, making it easy to carry down to the workout room
4/5

When the box arrived at the door, it was not overly large and easy to transport down to the workout room. When I opened it, I discovered that all of the parts were included, as well as instructions that were fairly straightforward. However, I would recommend using your own tools because it reduced the amount of time it took me to put the project together. Putting it together took about an hour. I've been using this product for about two weeks and I'm very pleased with it. I'm 6'1" tall and weigh around 160 pounds. When I lay down on it, it's more than long enough for me, and I'm not afraid to use my dumbbells on it (I don't have a bench). I gave it four stars because the frame has a minor wobble, which I only notice when doing exercises that require me to have one leg on the bench and the other on the ground (lateral raises, for example). I haven't noticed any wobble when doing any exercise where my back is against the machine; I'm very pleased with the product so far and appreciate the low price; I'll keep you updated as time goes on.

Bench with a good value It accomplishes the task
4/5

So that I could do barbell exercises, I built a home gym. I bought this manly utility bench for bench press (I do standing over head press). The bench does its job for me, and the price was reasonable, so I gave it four stars for those reasons alone. br>br>However, this bench is not a "Heavy Duty" bench in my opinion, despite the title. I dislike the following features of the bench: 1) It works, but it isn't overly rigid. The left side of the bench (where your head goes when using it) does not have much static support, as you can see in the photo, and as a 180 guy, I can feel it give slightly if I sit on this edge. This is the end where I no longer sit. 2) There is nothing to keep the foam pieces on the right hand side (where your legs would go) from sliding off because there is nothing to keep them in place. Overall, this is a fantastic bench for the money. If you're a novice looking for a low-cost setup, this is the place to go. This will suffice, but if you need something more durable, spend a little more money and get something better.
