The best way to choose the right size is to measure your waist and thigh size; if you're in between sizes, go with the smaller one. Because the waist trainer has a lot of stretch and can be adjusted. I wouldn't recommend it because it causes you to sweat a lot (you'll have wet stains EVERYWHERE it covers and EVERYWHERE in between!). Imagine you're walking up an incline and your thighs slide out of position, forcing you to reposition yourself by going in through the waist of your bottoms (possibly in public).

I bought this, which I jokingly refer to as my dominatrix outfit, to help me get more out of my workouts, and it works! I sweat a lot more during workouts, which is great because I'm 60 years old and have a slow thyroid, which makes losing weight difficult for me. My thighs, which are one of the most difficult areas for me to lose weight, have lost an inch. The bicep wraps are difficult to put on, according to some reviewers. I like to put mine on with the tab facing out because it's easier and they stay on better that way. Also, my experience has taught me that when the wraps become more difficult to hold, it's time to hand wash them, as well as the suit.

This was an excellent match. It is extremely effective. It drenches my midsection and thighs in sweat while I'm using it. The arm bands aren't bad, but they are a little difficult to put on yourself. But I like that I don't have to feel the jiggle when doing upper-body arm workouts, so I'm glad I bought it.
It makes me sweat a lot more during my exercise bike rides, which I enjoy.
