Questions & Answers

How many pairs or how many straps are there?

There was a strap on it.

Is this something that lasts a long time?

The one I have been using for almost 20 years just needs to be replaced. I did not keep 20 years of religious use, or 20 years of heavy weight, nor did I keep 20 years sitting in my drawer. They finally tore on that day, and it was awful!

Can you tell me how wide the straps are?

Compared to other straps I have seen, this one is about 2 inches, which is pretty standard. A 3 inch scarf.

When they are wearing the straps, how long are they?

I find it odd that both my lifting straps and tape measure are next to me on the nightstand. There are exactly 21 of them. This is 5 inches wide by 5 inches long. Thank you very much for your help. It's a good pair of They have stood up to my abuse and not a single stitch has come loose and there are no signs that they are worn. Having held up bars with more than 300 on them for about ten months now, they have stayed in very good shape. There is only one brand of gloves and straps I will It has never been a problem for me.

I thought they were counterfeit since they are so thin now compared to the originals they used to sell
3/5

On the bottom photo, you can clearly see that the one year old strap (top) is almost double the thickness of the new junk they sent me (top). Since I am getting half as much material as the originals, is the price half as much as the originals? In fact, I paid more than I had to. It doesn't do it justice seeing it in person as opposed to seeing and feeling the photo. It's impossible to compare the old ones with the new ones. The old ones were good and the new ones are garbage. It is not necessary to mention that these were Please note that I've been using these straps for YEARS now! In the future, I will never waste another cent on anything Harbinger sells. I hope that this will help others save their money as well. At first glance, when I took them out of the packaging and opened them, I believed they were fakes. The company acknowledged that they had made a mistake and sent me photos via email of what I received next to the "same ones" I had purchased about a year ago that clearly show the new cheaper cheap garbage is about half the thickness of what I had acquired before. Basically, they won't last and will dig into the wrists because they are so thin. The best part is after numerous emails ( I believed they hoped I would just accept) they write me back telling me the gloves have since been made thinner for a more comfortable fit. Since we were discussing STRAPS the entire time, I had my photos that they claimed to have sent to their product development team. Therefore, they had that excuse to support their claim. As far as I remember, I wrote them back to let them know we were talking about straps, not gloves, but I never heard back from them You will get more value by purchasing a different brand. Spend your money wisely.

Please be aware! It is thin and a downgrade compared to what previously existed
3/5

I am extremely disappointed in the new straps as they are a great improvement over our previous straps. The downgrade reduces the quality of the material or weave, thus reducing durability and comfort. Further inspection reveals that the edge seam was removed to save money. I have been buying Harbinger products since the 90s and this is the first time I have lost faith in the company. Those original straps were of such high quality that I would have gladly paid more to obtain them again. Bringing back the old quality will make a big difference!.

Your new favorite item in the gym! I was able to set a new deadlift PR thanks to these lifting straps! The reason I have felt like I would drop the bar at every turn is because I have small hands and have never worn gloves for grip
5/5

The straps made me feel like I could keep holding the bar regardless of how much I thought I could do! Those are amazing! I love them so much. For those who prefer to avoid gloves but still wish to have a secure grip, this product is highly recommended.

These straps are fantastic Padding is great - I love it The right side is super soft
5/5

These straps are fantastic Padding is great - I love it The first thing you notice about the material is how soft it is. I didn't have to break it in too much. After using straps for the first time, I was deadlifting an extra 50 pounds. A 5'2" female with small wrists, athletic but a bit short - I am female and athletic. My clothes fit perfectly and did not need any alterations or modifications to the fabric or padding. I'm blown away out of the box - thanks a ton If you are looking for a strap, this is a great option. I particularly like the color of this ring because it is a deep, rich pink that looks recognizable, yet not too Those things are important to women, and you know they care about them.

Works great to reduce pain when lifting a finger that's dislocated
5/5

It is my first pair of lifting straps, and I am pleased with them so far. Make sure you watch the YouTube video to learn how to use these. The Harbinger videos aren't the only ones. There are also videos from other brands. After you pull the strap through the loop, check that the loose end on both hands points towards your thumb (which means there will be two after you pull the strap through). Be sure to watch the video where they show you how to tighten them using the "motorcycle grip" (i. e. Turning your thumb from the back to the front while pinching). My two main motives for purchasing these were the following In the first place, I recently broke my finger, so lifting was painful (especially in pulling motions, like pulling out the hair) It doesn't matter which way you go. It was important to have something to assist with my grip while my hand recovered. Also, I find that my hands and wrists are giving out before my legs do as the weight on my deadlifts increases. So, while I want to develop grip strength, my hands caused me to rob my lefts of the repetitions I could've done otherwise. Though I have not yet tried heavy deadlifts (waiting for my finger to heal), the straps did assist me in doing pullups, rows, etc. , without having to stop because of my sore finger/wrist. Some people say that they felt discomfort during the test. I did not. Unless you have really soft skin, you will probably be comfortable with the straps. My skin is pretty tough, so you may experience discomfort if you have more sensitive skin. feel like these are going to work well with my heavier deadlifts.

I cannot wait to put them to the test. The straps appear to be made of a durable material, and I anticipate they will last a pretty long time, though I am curious whether the padding will remain attached.

They work great, as they are simple and effective
5/5

The design is strong and simple. In order to perform the front squat, I use them- Due to a lack of wrist flexibility, I do it instead by wrapping and gripping these instead of using the "hook grip" you use for a clean+jerk. This keeps my shoulders from sliding off the bar no matter how sweaty they are. You can also toss them into your gym bag to take them wherever you go, just as you would expect/hope with lifting straps. Although the added padding on the inside is nice, I don't actually use them in that way, so I can't comment on their functionality. Color is one of my favorite aspects of the dress. Pink converse make me feel like a coordinated adorable animal they make me feel like an adorable BEAST while lifting.

This gives me the strength to I wanted to improve my grip strength before I moved up in weight, so I started using Because the shoes were cheap, I bought a pair for my workout partner as well
5/5

As you know, I do a lot of over-analyzing It is over grip because it is There was a feeling of imbalance under me. As long as I do not raise a lot of weight with over-training It would be nice if I was a competitive power lifter, but I have no need of a 600 pound As for my grip, I was carrying 315 lbs, but the straps made it easier for me to lift it. For the price I think it is a sensible choice, and the padding around the wrist ensures that I feel comfortable in it. So far I have had no problems with it, and I recommend it.
