The pair takes some time to break in, but they are great once they are.

Is it better to go up or down a size for someone whose wrist size is in between?

Medium was the size I had ordered. I am not a professional, but because I was inexperienced I had trouble wrapping my hands around the bar when the straps between sizes dug into my fingers. I find it too My size is large, so I went ahead and ordered it. Even though they are now bigger, they are still much better. It does not dig into the top of my hands but rides on my wrist. In my opinion, it's better to go up rather than down. You may need to twist them a little to get them snug, but they will hold.

Can you tell me if the price is for a pair or just ?

The smallest hands can use it

Then read on! At 4'8" and 96 lbs, I am petite in my seventies and in my seventies. When I lifted over 100 lb, my hands were so tiny that the bar kept sliding. As I transferred to the lady's bar, which has a narrower diameter, the pain went away. As a result of this, I had slipped to 110 pounds. A video showing me lifting 135 pounds shows in no time how much easier the strap is to use. Using this strap no longer causes slipping. Having a strap that is so sturdy looks like it will last a long time.

After using them for the first time this week, I can tell they're going to be my favorite. These straps do not come with plush padding. It is not long before I will no longer have hair on my circled fingers (in the attached photo), and I'm expecting a callus to form there as well. You know what they say though, no pain, no gain? I should clarify, if you want to do wide grip pulls, here's what you need to know. As you pull your legs up onto a tall mounted bar requiring a step stool to grab it, be sure not to kick the stool away when reaching for it. Your options are limited, and you will be left hanging and guessing as to how to get off these straps without looking like the fool you really There are locks on these things. It's your turn. I am amazed at how well these straps work

The only thing I want to lift heavy things is to have big hands and strong wrists. I'm 5'2 and I have annoyingly small hands and small wrists. Having a good grip is one of my strongest attributes Although this isn't impressive for someone my size, it might be better for building my deadlift if I only wanted to lift coffee tables for the rest of my life, but I have big dreams of going to a furniture store and handling a 500 pound couch with ease. So, I've been struggling with my traditional lifting straps to lift weights for a long time, and while they help, well, if you've ever used them, you know they are terribly uncomfortable. The process of rigging them onto the barbell or dumbbells is a hassle, they are hard to get flush to the bar, the bar ends up wider than you would like to hold it, and they do not work well with rubberized dumbbells. The straps are never tight enough for those of us with small wrists, as any extra fabric or padding will make them too wide. During my attempt (and failure) to do Meadows rows last week, I nearly threw the barbell when I was gripping the bar incorrectly. I received a figure 8 strap recommendation as a result. * Good lord. * I added 20 lbs to my Romanian deadlift today compared with two weeks ago, and then went on to do Bulgarian split squats with two 60 lb dumbbells without grip fatigue (even 45s gave me fits until today). I have never experienced anything like this before. no learning curve at all, and I immediately felt that sorely missed tight grip on the bar I had been missing with the conventional straps that I had been using! In my quest for massively strong quads, glutes, and hamstrings, I look forward to having these straps by my side. It is important to note that these will not work for Olympic lifts where you need to be able to release the bar, and they are also not a good choice for hanging exercises like pullups since you need to release the bar to perform them. This is an excellent product, and my only complaint is that I did not discover You won't regret it if you try these.

You won't believe what I'm about to tell you

I was able to deadlift 410 pounds with a hook grip before trying these. Due to the lack of chalk in my gym and the knerling being so thin, I often have slipping problems with the bar It is real. The first time I used these items I was warming up us and I felt that the bar moved much more quickly. As I reached my top set, I wanted to see if I still had one in the tank after pulling 405 x 5. I felt like I had made a big leap. I am not saying that these things make you stronger – It would be absurd if that were the case Nevertheless, the straps secure the bar so tightly to your hands that you feel like you are putting more force and efficiency into the work. I would highly recommend it.

Straps can be replaced with this versatile solution

For years, I experimented with a variety of straps to help with my pulls and then I found these, so I figured, "what the heck, why the hell not?". "I am an idiot for not going sooner" I was an idiot for not going sooner, and I should have been there I would like to explain WHY you might want to use these straps rather than a traditional one. The problem for me was that I couldn't lock the grip of the "other" hand. You know, when your first hand assists and then your second hand is doing things one handed, it feels uncomfortable, not as locked in as the first. It did not matter what the brand, type, material, or silicone grip stuff it was. Using straps, I simply couldn't move my arms as well as without. There are some people who have better hands and wrists that can flex around and get the perfect lock. There are none of them who I am. How to do it. My first experience with these products was insufficient, since I didn't know how to use them or what the effects would be. We're on our way with a quick YT check. Your hand slides through the first loop to get to the other side, then goes under the bar. It's easier than you think. Is it the same thing? There is it. The case is. It's like that. Easy to do. It is now unnecessary to try to get the wrap where I want it in my hands or to lock, unlock, try again, blah, blah, You only need to do one thing. As soon as your wraps are properly secured, they should be positioned on the outside of your hand placement and not on the wraps themselves. Again, this is like gripping ropes for those of us who haven't handled straps before. This is how the story The placement of your bar grip is really easy to adjust once you have it locked in. It's one of those things that's totally subjective and every person will have their own unique take on it (other functional aspects should be the same - everything else, however, is a matter of opinion). In other words, it works. What are the effects on your wrists? Do they leave red marks? In short, yes. Can those marks bruise? They do sometimes, depending on weight, reps, etc. Are they irritating It's possible they can be, but crushing that heavy pull is far more important than a little soreness in the wrist that'll go away before you next deadlift. A solid durability is evident after 3 heavy dead sessions (2 of those included heavy rack pulls and heavy bar rows). As soon as that changes over the course of a month, two months, or whenever, I'll update this review. Nevertheless, they're very well made and I doubt they will have a lot of issues with durability. The overall impression is that if you're not a fan of traditional straps, these are the straps for you. Try these if you want to try something new to maybe break through a plateau they literally cannot harm you. If you like straps, and want to try something new. In particular, you might hurt your wrists if the arm braces are too tight, but, you have to give them a shot to see what happens.
