Questions & Answers

What's the difference between these grips and those made by Versa?

Each of them differs a little, but they are very similar. In my opinion, the Versa grips are a little more tacky than the Cobra grips, but the Cobra grips are way more comfortable, cover more of your palm, and are less expensive. I have owned both and I will always select the Cobra grip.

Leather or rubber which one is better?

As someone who has had both, I will always opt for The grip of leather is not as good as the grip of The FIT is my favorite workout program, as I am 5'7" and 164 lbs. It also worked, but had the same problem as the FiT it was too big and didn't fit well

Comparing these to the Harbinger Lifting Grips, what do you think?

Thanks for your interest in all the brands and varieties of GYM products out there in today's market, Jack. The Harbinger lift grips brand however does not compete with our Patented Cobra Grips product. Feel free to get your hands on our Cobra Grips and let us know what you think. Should you not be satisfied with the quality of our products, you are always welcome to return them directly to Amazon or to us for a full refund. It is gracious of you to show interest in my work.

Could you tell me if these are one size fits all, since there are no sizes listed?

If you are looking for a men's or a woman's version, you'll need to consider the brand's gender. From age 4, the female version goes up to 6. I would place it between 5" and 25" in length. Neither gender has to worry about sizing issues since the male version As a person with an 8" wrist, I find mine to be very

Even though one size does not fit all, this is still the best

The wrists on my left hand are only about 7. I am not a big guy and it's not the biggest. A 5 is. When I exercise I find it particularly challenging to move my arms when lifting heavy objects. In my 40's, it has been even harder to get my work done. In recent months, I have used gym paws, which provided a great grip, as well as athletic tape to support my wrist. There have been many combinations I have tried, but only a few of them have produced good results in my opinion. I found a pair of I thought they were a unique combination that I was searching The first thing I wanted to know was if I was right for the PRO? Here is an example of what I did I looked up the differences between the PRO and FIT and sent questions to support. "Pro is for men, and Fit is for women. " was really all I got. As a result of other reviews, I was concerned the Pro would not fit me for my needs, so I just ordered both jackets A comparison with From a visual inspection, it appears that the main difference between the wristbands is the length. The PRO is 19" tall and the FIT is 16 inches tall, according to my unofficial measurements. As well as the leather pads, they seem to be the same size. Padding is important to consider
Size is important to consider In terms of appearance, there was a big difference in the pro because of the extra wrap hanging off of the body. Also, I noticed that I wasn't getting as tight of a fit with the PRO around my wrist, thus I returned them. As a result of this more comfortable fit, I did not use the PRO in the gym. As for functionality, I wanted something that offered a good grip but provided wrist support. The Cobra Grips were able to deliver both in grip and support. You can either wrap the leather around the bar to use as grips, or simply hold it with your hands. When you pull or push, with dumbbells or barbells, these feel great. They have been the only gear I need for all my exercises for the past two weeks, and I'm quite addicted to them. There were some reports where people felt pinched, but I have never felt any discomfort. A final note There is no hand/wrist grip/support I have ever seen that is as complete as these. Although I am not sure which version should be used by men or women, I think the company should consider making these available in both male and female The 7th one is for me. As someone with 5 " wrists, I find the FIT to be the proper size.

The product is excellent After using these grips 5x a week for the past year, I feel they are a great product and well worth the purchase
5/5

I purchased these grips in January 2018 and have used them 5x a week ever since. HIIT and weight training have been a serious part of my life for approximately 5 years. I'm a fairly large human (6' 2", 230 lb) with a relatively large frame. While I started out doing predominantly crossfit workouts, over the past 3 years I have tended to focus on strength training, eating a healthy diet, and exercising regularly. There is a focus on Olympic lifts (power clean and jerk, deadlift, and As a result, I bought these grips when the durability of my hands significantly limited my ability to lift more weight. You can call me a wimp or a pansy if you want. The only thing I remember is feeling like my hands were being shredded each time I lifted weights. There had to be a I was thankfully able to get everything I wanted out of these cobra grips. The Cobra Grips don't only protect the sensitive portions of my hand (where the upper palm meets the fingers), but also protect the rest of my hand. My hands and fingers are protected, not just one part of my hand. Because of these changes, my lifts no longer experience any grip-related limitations. had been experiencing significant tears in my upper palm once every two weeks to now only twice a week From having a tear a year ago in 3 weeks to no tears for the past I have been able to lift significantly more as a result of using Cobra grips, compared to using other grips Deadlift, clean and jerk, and squats are especially good exercises for this. Although the grips are primarily advertised for use with barbells, they can also be used for a number of other exercises. Pull-ups, chin-ups, and barbell lifts are just some of the exercises I do with them The exercises include squats, kettlebells, rows, and cable work (pulls, The cobra grips will work great if you are gripping a "bar" with your palm. They are inexpensive, effective, and provide a nice boost to your As well as having a durable grip, these are very comfortable to wear. Since they were purchased about a year ago, I have used them nearly continuously, and they fairly look the same as the day I bought them. Using the grips makes it easier to release a bar, e. Some of my weight training partners are concerned that using the grips will make it harder to release a bar. A person needs to bail out of a lift when they need to leave. It seems reasonable that would be a concern, but it hasn't proved to be the case For me, this is a problem. When you are using a Cobra grip, the bar is accessed by maneuvering your hands into the grip, but it is simply a matter of opening up the grip. When I use Cobra grips, I have found that I have no problem releasing the bar on a failed lift as easily as I did when I didn't use them. While I am a huge fan of these grips and highly recommend them, no product is perfect, and these grips can also be improved in some ways. Here are the first few things you should know With the cobra grips on the bar, getting used to them takes a bit of getting used to. For individuals who are competitive crossfitters or who are seeking a product that will allow them to grip a bar quickly, this may not be suitable. Cobra grips can be exposed to the same problem by storing them in the same position that they were sent from the manufacturer, as storing the grip in the correct position will encourage the leather to curve in the right direction. The second is A Cobra Grips is a one size fits all product. That means it can be fitted to the wrists of man titans as well as to a child. My wrists are quite slim, and although I am a fairly large human, I had to cinch down the grips quite a bit in order for them to fit me properly. Even if it is not a big deal, I believe the grip would feel considerably more comfortable if the wrist portion of the grip were sized down. A three-fold ratio must be incorporated into the project plan Quite a few of the materials are warm and absorbent, making the grip quite comfortable. In addition to making them fairly comfortable to wear, however, this also means that they tend to absorb a lot It has been more than a year since I last handwashed my set of grips, but they still stink quite putrid despite being wash As a result, there are several pluses and minuses to these grips, namely INVITE YOU TO The grips provide good hand protection
* They are very durable
* They can be used for a variety of lifts
* They enhance grip, but still maintain easy release of the * Reasonable price for the product. * Cons * Can take a long time to set up on the bar * One size fits all wrists don't fit narrow wrists well enough* Absorbent materials can draw out odors * Edit Please see below for the changes made. For the sake of full disclosure, I would like to state that I am not related to the manufacturer in any way, nor have I received nor will I receive compensation from them.

Comparison of Cobra Grips Pro rubber and Snake Grips rubber
5/5

This leather grip is made by Cobra Grips. As a personal trainer/strength coach with over 20 years of experience, I have expertise in both. Cobra grips are about 2 years old and I ordered the black rubber product. As an upgrade to the Versa gripps I had previously used, I found them to be excellent. This is now the leather version of the Cobra grip Pro I've ordered. The rubber and leather versions fit very comfortably, they are the same dimensions and both provide a superior degree of grip to your workouts. However after trying the leather I can say that the rubber version is easier to lock down and the leather has a softer feel thanks to its suede finish. Overall, both are great companies, and like everyone else (many of whom come with years of heavy lifting experience), I would recommend them both highly.
