Questions & Answers
It's only about a quarter of an inch thick. Over the course of several weeks, it has performed admirably when used with a stationary bicycle.
Hello there - Thank you for reaching out to me with your query. PVC Vinyl is used to make this equipment mat. A different purpose is served by the foam mats at the bottom of the detail page. The exercise equipment mat protects your floors from scrapes and scratches caused by exercise equipment. Tumbling, gym floors, and other uses call for foam mats.
It's unlikely to provide any additional sound insulation, but it will safeguard your rug. In the event that sweat spills on the floor, the mat provides an easy-to-clean surface.
It didn't seem to have a particularly strong odor to me. I kept it in a sitting area in my bedroom and had no problems with odor.

I've had it for a few months and can't really say anything positive or negative about it, so I'll just state the facts. br>br>FACT: br>br> It lies flat on the floor and is visually appealing. br>br>FACT: It appears to do exactly what it claims to do: protect the floor beneath it. I've moved it a few times and there are no stains, marks, or wear on the pad's bottom or on the floor (as with other less expensive materials). br>br>FACT: There are no unpleasant chemical odors, and it does not appear to be easily tearing apart. br>br>UNKNOWN: I'm not sure how long it'll last because I haven't used it in a long time. Mats like these don't start to break down until they've been put through their paces, which can take anywhere from six months to a year. br>br>As a result, I've come to the following conclusion: The mat does not bother me in any way. I have no regrets about my purchase.
I got exactly what I needed for my peleton bike at a lower price.
There are many mats available, but I needed one for a machine called The Ab Rider that I bought a few years ago. The issue with The Ab Rider is that I wasn't told that without a mat, the centrifugal force created will cause it to travel all over the place, potentially damaging floors unless you have a carpet or something (and an unsecured carpet will also slide). If this did not solve my problem, I was fully prepared to return it. This mat, on the other hand, is fantastic. It protects the floors while also giving the machine enough grip to keep it from slipping around. It didn't move an inch after more than 20 minutes of effort. Now I'm able to do low-impact HIIT without difficulty. I was in desperate need of assistance, and this provided it.
This is a fantastic mat - Ideally suited for use beneath a spin bike or slant bench - if you need a lot of space - Keep this in mind: This mat does not measure 24X48 inches. The actual dimensions are 27 1/2 x 47 inches.
Mat is fantastic. br>Recently, I transformed my garage into a personal training facility. br>It's an incredible mat. It's under my treadmill, to be precise. br>The mat is made of high-quality materials and is extremely durable.
If you're looking for a mat to absorb some of the vibration from your Peloton bike, this is NOT the mat for you. It's a stylish mat that appears to be made of a tough rubber, but it's actually made of paper.
This mat has proven to be a long-lasting investment. It hasn't torn and protects my floor in the way it's supposed to.
After a few weeks of use, the material appears to be sturdy and sits flush to the ground with no curling or fraying. It can withstand the use of exercise equipment and is simple to clean after daily workouts. When stepping onto or off of equipment, it does its job, protects the floor, and provides a cushioned platform. It is a good deal.
