It should be possible for you to do so. For months, I've been using my mat as an elliptical machine. It hasn't shifted or ripped in any way. It's also pretty simple to roll out.
That is exactly what I did at my home. My carpet has a low pile, and I sweat a lot, but the mat hasn't bled into it.

It was such a letdown What a load of nonsense. To make matters worse, it stinks so bad of chemicals that it has pervaded my entire home. Since it arrived, it has been giving me a headache.
It does exactly what it says on the tin. Holds my peloton securely in place, with no creases, and the weight is evenly distributed. This is extremely well-made, and it appears that it will last a long time. When it was delivered, we rolled it up and placed a few dumbbells on it by accident, which creased the mat badly. We laid the mat flat on the floor, and it returned to its original state in two or three days, with no creases. This is fantastic. I'd buy it again to put other things in it.
Perfect size mat for under my schwinn IC4 at 5 x 5 feet. The mat is thicker than I had anticipated, and the quality far exceeds my expectations. The material is plush and has a good grip. This is a fantastic product for working out with.
I bought two of these to use as a workout surface and to place a Schwinn IC4 bike on top of to protect my carpet. I went into more detail about why I gave this four stars vs. five stars below. I'd give it a five, but I'd advise against it. br>br>I use the larger mat as a workout surface, and it's fantastic. It is placed on carpet and does not move while I am doing Tapout XT. It does a fantastic job of cushioning jumps and impacts while also keeping moisture and sweat at bay. However, I wish the available size was larger. br>br>I bought the smaller mat to use under a spin bike, as mentioned. Again, this mat does an excellent job of keeping moisture and sweat off the carpet. It is, however, insufficiently thick to absorb the machine's weight without deforming. The mat allows the machine to make indentations in the carpet and makes it slightly more difficult to completely level the machine; however, it is definitely helping my carpet. Yes, I would recommend it, despite its flaws.
To protect my bike's floor, I bought an exercise mat to go under it. It'll suffice for that, and it can also be used as a yoga mat. It not only rolls up easily, but it also lays flat without curling. The best part was that when I opened the package, there was no overpowering odor. Other mats I've had had such a strong odor that I had to leave them in the garage for a month before bringing them inside; this one went straight from the package to under the bike with no hassle and no odor. Mat is well-made and reasonably priced. I'd buy it again and recommend it to others without hesitation.
