I love how the way it looks. In terms of thickness, mine is a little over 1/16th inch. In the workout area, it dresses everything UP.

Nope! Whenever I use mine, no stains have been noted. The carpet I choose is white or cream colored.

Make sure you don't purchase anything. Placing row machines under my wood floors is supposed to be protected, instead it damages the floors. Because I created moisture, all of my exercise flooring ended up root. What would I have done would have turned this mat on over to my floor and caused $5K in damages. I found this product terrible.
My Concept2 was built with this mat. The fit is fine. There is nothing bad about rubber. I noted a textured look which layflated after one day of use- It does not result in any issues with the end curling upwards.
Rather, it simply does not accomplish what you're trying to accomplish. On the top of my Concept 2 rower is this mat, so once you start rowing fast, the mats will be inching forward toward your chest. It's very annoying what happened to me. The rower's legs are hard to stick to the mat because of a lack of lubrication.
These chemicals react extremely with odors and vapors from rubber and plastic surfaces. four others have been inspected for my elliptical. Every one of them is in the trash because they are a nasty, horrible odor of rubber and chemicals. During the second one, I ended up with migraines after only 24 hours with a rubber mat I've never tried before. My other option might lead to a chemical odor associated with the mat. The leather has a durability and resilience so that elliptical activity will not destroy it in the future. After purchasing this item, I believe it has to happen for a better value for money and I plan to buy one again soon.
It is perfect for rowing. After making one roll from the box, the mat was straight up. The odor was not present. A great weight material, which looks and feels very good. I highly recommend this purchase.
In light of other reviewers having said the same thing, I purchased this for our concept 2 rower. We were able to maintain one edge of the elliptical on one side of the mat as long as 8 months ago, and it has still caused indentations around the feet twice since then. Would like to think they would leave but maybe stay a little while. We have the rower mat on relatively thick carpet and the performance is excellent. Having a small excess of length is fine, and the rower does turn back after quite a while, but not by much.
A very heavy mat with a long track. A long treadmill like my Sole F63, that I bought for $150, has this functionality on it as well. The mat is heavier, and when laid out of the carton it lay flat right away. After using it at least briefly, my daughter told me (before running on the treadmill) that it is now "almost impossible" to use a wheelchair.
