Questions & Answers
I looked up your bicycle (Peloton-1) on the internet. You should get the 30x60 mat based on the dimensions of your footprint (nice looking bike!). Your bike will barely fit on the mat with the 24x46. I have 1 on my motorcycle (Schwinn 170). On each side, there is 5" of space, and there is a total of 2" of space. Front and back measurements are 5 inches. The bike is extremely stable and fits nicely on the mat. The bicycle is 46 inches long, according to your measurements. If your bike is 9", you should get the slightly larger mat because you don't want it to sit right on the mat's edge. I hope this information is useful.
It's not as thick as the mat in the bed of my pickup truck, but it appears to be strong enough to support my Spinner bike and 240 pounds. I'm using it to protect my hardwood floors.
There's no reason why the Heavy Duty Mat couldn't be used outside, in my opinion. I personally use it indoors. However, it's a very sturdy mat, and I don't see why it wouldn't be able to withstand outdoor weather. It's probably best to double-check with the manufacturer to see how well it holds up in the elements. Also, if your stationary bike has wheels, you could probably roll it off the mat and store it indoors in case of bad weather (just in case).
I believe it is contingent on the number of weights involved. It works well under an exercise bike, which I used it for. It's a good thickness. So, if you're talking about a 15-pound weight loss, it should be possible. However, if you're dropping a 50-pound weight from three feet, it's unlikely to protect your floor adequately.

It isn't particularly thick, which is ideal for me because I have carpet. It has a solid feel to it and is well-balanced. I had no trouble pulling the bike while it was on the mat. The Schwinn 170 will fit perfectly in this bag. After a few months of riding, I'll report back on how it's holding up. EDIT 12/2020: br>br> It's still running fine. The bike's legs have carved out their own niches in the mat. If this had been on a hard surface, I'm not sure it would have happened.
This mat is perfect for under our exercise bike because it protects the floors from the bike's vibrations as well as sweat. It's also very easy to clean up. This is our second one, as our first one, which was three years old, was misplaced during a move! It has held up well to regular use under a spin bike and has been used on carpet, tile, and hardwood floors. On all three surfaces, this product performs admirably. We've also used it as a layer of protection between a roof bag and the car's roof. It's also fantastic for that purpose! For those who want a more realistic idea of the mat's thickness, it's about the thickness of a magazine (as shown in the photo). It's a fantastic mat for the price.
I'm not pleased! This mat was supposed to be an inch thick, according to the description. It's only a quarter inch thick, as you can see in the photo. Because it stated that it was an inch thick, I purchased it. Such a letdown. br>br>I'd also like to point out that it doesn't appear to be particularly long-lasting. It has the texture of a slightly thicker yoga mat. It feels almost as if it's made of foam, and it'll rip in a year or less.
(#901).
The backing on this peeled off and left large marks all over my hardwood floor, so be careful. Scraping the black stuff off was a pain, and I won't be using the mat on that floor again.
It's the ideal size for our bike and our living space. It is, however, poorly constructed. I've returned this item twice for a replacement, only to have holes appear in the mat where the bike's rear legs come into contact with it. br>br>So, for the third mat, I purchased Gorilla Duct Tape and applied it to the top and bottom of the mat. To keep my laminate floors from being damaged, I put a cushion where the legs rest. br>br>I tried contacting the manufacturer and left a detailed message explaining what brand/model exercise bike I have (Health Gear XB5) and how it is damaging their mat in a matter of weeks, but they never responded. br>br>So, in comparison to other mats, this one is a good size for my needs, but it gets damaged far, far too easily, and Super-Tex isn't much of a help. Mats is ignoring a major problem with their exercise bikes.
However, I was very pleased with the actual product, and the size was ideal for under my stationary bike; however, the larger size may have caused me problems with placement of the pad and bike due to adjacent furniture. I considered returning it because of the price difference, but after receiving the bike and seeing how well it fit, I knew I had to keep it. This mat lays nice and flat, with no curling edges that could be a tripping hazard, and it has a nice appearance. Make sure to double-check your measurements to ensure that you, too, will be satisfied.
I am overjoyed that I was able to purchase this at such a low price. br>br>Because it's smooth on the bottom, it won't leave marks on our linoleum. Dimpling on the topside keeps the stationary bike from moving. The bicycle is quite heavy. br>br> I've moved it several times and double-checked the mat. The mat has kept the linoleum floor from being damaged by the bike's weight. In addition, each time I move the bike, I place it in a different position on the mat to assess the mat and floor's condition. I'm happy to report that the mat "self-heals" in a matter of seconds - There are no permanent indentations or traces of the bike's presence, and it is in perfect condition. Supermats Heavy Duty PVC Mat is extremely well made and dependable. Buying one is something I strongly advise you to do.
