Yes, you certainly can. Simply connect it to the horn wires you already have. The horns are blaring extremely loudly. My collection is fantastic.
I don't see why you couldn't; it's like a speaker diaphragm inside the ball end, so the horn's orientation shouldn't affect performance in any way. I tested mine before mounting it by pointing one of them straight up, and it honked normally.
This was purchased for my brother's boat. So far, everything has gone well. He's had it for about a year and it still works great and shows no signs of rust.
A relay was never necessary for me. It's VERY LOUD and VERY CLEAR.

There's also no need to install a compressor or tubing. It's all electric, so I used a relay to connect it to my old boat horn. br>br>Installing it during the day might have been a better idea. It was impossible to resist the temptation to put it to the test. It was late, and I had awoken every dog within a few blocks. A couple of my immediate neighbors came over the next morning to admire my new boat addition. One of them has a wire cutter in his back pocket, I believe.
Instead of the threaded (with nut) screws that came with the boat, I used replacement stainless screws to go into the deck. It's also worth noting that, while the horn's length and size were identical to those on my boat, the mounting bracket's bolt hole pattern was different, necessitating the filling of old holes and the creation of new ones. Because of the screw pattern holding the mounting bracket to the horn, it could not be removed and swapped. So, if this is something that worries you, be aware of it. br>I have to admit, I now use the horn button far too often because this thing is so damn loud! Love it!.
It sounds good while it lasts; I'd be surprised if I haven't honked this thing twice since I installed it. Only one of the horns is functional. br>This is the third time I've tried and failed. br>While the price appears to be reasonable, if you require a reliable horn, do not purchase this one.
It is only because of this that I have given it a four-star rating. The horns were mounted under the front bumper, behind the bumper. I didn't want them to get wet while I washed her because I didn't want them to get wet. I can't tell how loud they are because I can't see them. Aside from that, They are outstanding.
My first set lasted two years before I decided to stop using it. I replaced the first set with a second. The first set started to rust; there were many different brands, but the horns were all the same; the only difference was the round label on the back of the horn. I don't mind getting only two years out of them for the price. In Florida, I was mounted on a boat and took a few salt water baths in rough seas. Installing it was a breeze.
But seriously, this satisfies all of my requirements. It was simple to install because they provided all of the necessary mounting hardware. Now the question is whether it will last in Barnegat Bay's salty air. Only time will tell if this is true.
junk. This trumpet horn was installed on September 1st. On my boat in 2019. I gave a warning honk a few days ago, but only one of the two trumpets sounded. I double-checked the connections and found them to be in good working order. When I called Pactrade to file a complaint, I was told it was no longer under warranty, which is only for one year. This horn had a 14-month life span. Chinese junk sold by people who don't stand behind their products.
I liked that it was self-contained because I didn't have much room on my jeep to mount things. However, in my previous vehicle, I had one with its own compressor and air tank; this one isn't nearly as loud as that one or what I wanted, but it is louder than a factory car horn and does sound like a train.
