When a coyote approached my driveway on a rainy night, my dog's collar slipped off his wet fur, and the horn saved his life. He was grabbed by a coyote and chased into the woods. I chased the coyote with the horn, but because I couldn't see, I sprayed it in various directions, not knowing where they were. The noise must have startled or distracted the coyote enough to cause him to drop him, because the dog emerged from the woods with multiple bite marks, but he survived! I can honestly say that this horn saved my life. I keep it with me whenever the dogs are outside, even if we have a fenced yard.

I twisted it on tightly, as I'm sure that's how it's supposed to be done.
