I believe it to be the case. My board is exactly what I needed. My board is a 10'6 32" with thick pads and a long, sturdy strap. I haven't tried strapping two boards together yet, but I'm pretty sure it'll work. However, the strap needs to be twisted once on top of the board or the wind noise will be unbearable.
They are fairly universal in nature. They velcro all the way around, so I'm confident they'd fit.

The diameter of our Jeep Grand Cherokee crossbars is unknown, but they are wider and oval in shape. These pads fit perfectly with plenty of room to spare (and, in my opinion, would also fit wider bars). We use them to make a surfboard out of them. They're padded to perfection. We had to trim the straps (be sure to fire/lighter the ends so they don't fray!) because they came with nice protective 'ends' so the clasp wouldn't hurt a board. The entire package is exactly what we needed for almost daily surfboard transport!.
The metal part of my cross rails (which I also got from Amazon) measured 26 inches across. These are PERFECTLY FITTING on the metal part, and they also help to reduce wind noise while driving! br>I paddle boarded, and my board effortlessly slid onto the roof of my car. br>They're very reasonably priced, and I'm hoping they'll last a while; I've had them for about a week. They are fantastic!.
I was looking for straps for my roof rack that didn't have any gaps in the side rails for straps to go through, and I came across these! I like the cushions because they provide additional "support" and a better grip. I used them for a pop-up canopy and the canopy did not budge once during a 5-hour journey in high winds and rain! I would strongly suggest it!.
While the velcro was functional, it was so tight that I couldn't easily open or close it. They slid too much once I got them attached to the crossbars.
The straps are of fair quality, but they appear to hold two paddle boards in place without slipping.
It appears to be of good quality, and the velcro is very strong. I just wish the rack was a little tighter.
My paddleboards fit perfectly on the pads.
It might be possible to make it a little bigger.
