For a sup, it should work. If your SUP doesn't have those handles to latch onto, I don't think you'll be able to use the front and back straps.
I upgraded to ratchet straps for two main straps that go over the kayak because it is easier if you have someone helping you. It's a lot more user-friendly and secure.
I don't see why not; you might have to stagger the blocks, though.
Just make sure that all of the straps and cords are secure.

The kit arrived on time and in perfect condition. The two orange straps, on the other hand, are quite short and provided no assistance in attaching the kayak to the sedan we were driving. We used other straps we had on hand that were long enough. The foam pieces are a good size, and the black straps are long enough to secure the kayak well with the extra straps we provided.
I was skeptical at first, but after using it, I believe it is excellent value for money; I drove it at 65 mph for an hour and it performed admirably. I have a 13' kayak that is quite wide, and it is excellent value for money.
It's a pain to use, and it'll take two people to do it right. Straps are ineffective, and driving with the kayak in place makes a lot of noise. I'll be on the lookout for something different.
On a car roof, it works fine but isn't very sturdy. This setup would not allow me to travel long distances or at high speeds.
It's fine for kayak carting around town. With this setup, I wouldn't feel safe traveling over long distances.
It was well worth the wait. It functions well. very good value for money.
It's a fantastic product that can handle speeds of up to 50 miles per hour. For highway travel, this is not a good option. My car is a mid-size sedan, and it is comfortable and reliable.
The only issue I have is with the orange ratchet straps. This is an excellent item. My only issue is that the orange ratchet straps are too small for me to use. All of the other components are compatible with my Ford Escape.
