It was ideal for a long journey

It was perfect for transporting a 70-pound pirouge from Louisiana to Georgia. Getting the front and back ties in place It took a while to get the boat properly anchored, but once it was, it stayed put. To avoid resonance, the center strap between the boat and the car frame had to be twisted on both sides. Noise was induced, but that was to be expected.

These are fantastic, but the crossbar opening is a little tight. I would recommend them, but the pads should be able to accommodate a wider cross bar.
