While it does not work as well as it used to, I still have been able to use tripmaker(2001). The only thing I would use streetfinder for is Google Maps since it is more up-to-date It is datetime.

Street Atlas USA was successfully used on my brother's computer with his Garmin eTrex (standard yellow), so I decided to pay some attention to some software that I could use with my own When I looked at this software and MS Streets and Trips, I decided to purchase StreetFinder in the end, as I thought it would have better maps (I already decided against Street Atlas USA because it is apparently ONLY maps of the US, and all the roads terminate at the The device was delivered, but after receiving it I was dissatisfied very quickly, since I could not get the unit to recognize my GPS system. It took a while to get it right, so I gave up and began playing, which was disappointing. I found the interface to be difficult to use (it tries to be "easy to use" but in reality it is not usable). I found this frustrating especially when attempting to plan a trip to Memphis, since I had to guess my way through my entire trip. Considering its excellent maps, StreetFinder is only halfway good, Purchase MS Streets & Crossroads if you want me to recommend it Upon logging in to Trips, it immediately picked up my GPS, and I had no trouble with it picking up my GPS, and it offered quite decent maps as well.
My experience with tripmaker is excellent. I have used it for vacations and business trips all over the world. I have used three different versions so far, and all of them have installed properly and performed well. There is a guarantee at each hotel that my wife will stay the night all the time, so she will not travel more than 6 hours a day. Optimally, I plan the stretch of each day and reserve a room at the next stopover place at the end of the day. Various options are available for me so I can find the one that works best for me. You can use it for planning purposes.
For planning trips, along with the estimated cost for the trip and stopping points, this program works well. Due to a bug in one of the data files, Rand McNally will no longer support the program, and the Prefer/Avoid function does not work properly.
Unfortunately, I was not able to rate this item since the computer program did not work on my machine. When I contacted the seller for a refund, I received it within 24 hours.
We find this product to be very bad at all, and it is a very bad product to sell online. You should pull it off the market because it doesn't work at all.
I found it to be well I was able to install the Atrium lock on my old Atrium door easily and it fit perfectly.
It seems to me that the negative reviews on this list are quite harsh. I especially dislike it when the "reviewer" says that the application won't perform certain actions that I have done many, many times, and which are obvious to anyone who has used it. Oh, and especially when the reviewer mentions a specific "competing product" repeatedly. The kind of "review" being offered is nothing more or less than a form of advertising for the competing product. So please remember that.
This software is no longer produced by Rand McNally, and as such is no longer necessarily the latest version "Date" (the area in which I live is a high-density one Several areas are shown on the maps as open country that are now shopping malls, Although you won't notice it if you live in an area that hasn't changed much in the last decade (like I used to) you will certainly notice it if you haven't experienced anything like it before. Map sets printed by this program DO include "entire trip" information. It seems the reviewer who stated that it won't be able to read basic English is either not intelligent enough to read or A "trip package" consists of a top-rated hotel and a variety of other things The map is composed of a top-level map showing the entire route, particularly its major legs, as well as zoomed-in maps showing each segment on it (zoomed to the level necessary to illustrate your actions). My itinerary, scheduled stops, etc, etc are all included in this program. I still use it today. To safeguard myself in case my GPS dies on me (as happened to me one time with another model), I always plot my information on paper prior to any trip. I would like to point out that my GPS can connect to a laptop, which is configured to display my driving path when running this software as well (or it can be used without any navigation software at all).
At the bottom of the page. . . The software available today is more advanced, and it's the state of the art.
