The street updates, locations, etc. from the program are more than adequate. You cannot complain about the overall quality or accuracy of the While it's a great program, I will explain the stupidity that's behind it in the following paragraph. In my opinion, the value of the GPS unit is poor, and I'll explain There is no way to use your GPS to provide turn-by-turn directions, but rather to simply follow your current location along a predetermined route The route has been created. The included software is pretty good, it has a lot of features. A good thing about the "route finder" is that it can recognize maps based on their identifier Using my Pentium M 1, it routes (and reroutes) very fast for one-way streets. 5. 0 GHz band. Also the speed function, which is almost identical to my car's speedometer, is very similar. Unfortunately, the software and the GPS do not seem to "work together" in that it does not snap to the road it draws the location of the car based solely on the GPS data, so in my case, I am always a few feet west of the You can't see what turn is coming up or use any sort of voice navigation either. The only thing you could do is drive by yourself, as this makes it nearly impossible to follow. Further, it doesn't tell you where you are unless you look at the map and work it out based on the street you are on and where you are on the map. Together, it is a great value after all (

. )because I am always taking a road trip with my girlfriend or family, so they can tell me when to turn because it is very accurate on.

Occasionally, the GPS system would not work correctly

The only complaint I have is that it was not always accurate. A number of computers already had the software installed when I installed it on them. I was unable to use the GPS on any of the computers I tried, either laptops or desktops. It seemed to work after about 5 minutes of tinkering. We went to California, and I plugged it into my laptop and it was only working about 30% of the time. I am not sure what happened, maybe it was just a faulty device, but whatever the case is, it is very frustrating. Despite its shortcomings, the software program is highly accurate and efficient. Since about 2002, I've used Streets and Trips and have been very happy with how their software has been updated.

I found it to be good while I used I used it for a long time until I got a Magellan, and now I use it with Google on my Android phone

In our era of smartphones, this is outmoded and useless. Buying this did not make me regret it at all. A quick shipment is also available. As for quality, I have no way of examining it, but the price is reasonable.

It was a good value for the money

I used this for a trip from NW of Chicago to Houghton, MI (again in the U. S. well, except for some hilly sections (lost signal a couple of As driving a motor vehicle with a laptop at your side is not a good idea, this method works best with two people (driver and navigator). It would have been even better if the voice prompts were included, but at the price, it probably wasn't expected.

The following is a revised version Our gps tracker was broken, so I had to purchase this product to replace it. We have used any of the Streets and Trips GPS devices we have used and have been pleased so far with how the devices work. We use the 2007 model and are truckers who have traveled throughout the United States so far. Our route has not been changed or we have not been left stranded. Products on the market that are the best.
