Since GPS receivers cost hundreds of dollars at the time, Delorme Street Atlas has been my go-to navigation tool. The 2005 version was not an exception I have liked all their releases so far. Despite the current error of the 2005 version of the program, I purchased it because it works well in linux (that is, it supports both USB and serial GPS!) that runs through Wine. Since the newest versions (tested until 2008 as of this review) do not install or run well via Wine, this is one of the best options for installing the game locally Then store it on the street In Linux, there is a level navigation system. I have used DeLorme Street Atlas for years in my genealogy research. There is so much detail in the maps of both urban and rural roads and also features such as topography that I find amazing. By combining a GPS unit with a DeLorme Atlas and Gazetteer, I have been able to locate and drive directly to many insecure.
