Questions & Answers

Is it suitable for Windows XP?

Yes, that is correct. br>As long as you have RAM on the machine you're using: A minimum of 256MB is recommended. 3 GB available on the hard drive br>Windows XP with Service Pack 3 (SP3).

Is a replacement computer considered a second PC (the license only allows for one user and three computers)?

No, a replacement computer does not count; you can only have it on three computers at once. I'm on my fourth home computer, my second laptop, and I'm using 2in1. I used the same license for all of them. The only time I had a problem was when my new computer crashed after a few months and I had to get a replacement because I couldn't delete it from the old one. With just one phone call to Microsoft, I was able to obtain a license key and download it.

Is it possible to use the 2010 version of Access with Access 2003? Is it going to have an impact on the files on 2003 access?

Yes, it will be open for the entire year of 2003. Check to see if the new version has Access.

Is the Microsoft Office 2010 software compatible with Windows 8?

Because I had only recently purchased Windows 8, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. 1. I had to make a phone call, and a technician came out and installed it for free. I hope this has been of assistance.

They sold MY Product Key to a greater number of people? This Office 2010 NEW was purchased on the third day of the third month
3/5

2014 (sold by Tax Software Store, Inc) came with a 3-PC installation, which I used on my three computers. My old computer crashed, so I reinstalled it on my new computer without any problems, giving me a total of FOUR active installations. Now that my laptop has crashed, I'm trying to reinstall it on my new laptop, but I keep getting errors that say "this Product Key is already associated with another user on this site. " When I called Microsoft, they informed me that MY Product Key had been activated 24 times! br>The only way this could have happened is if MY Product Key had been double-entered. sold to a new customer or a new set of customers br>br>I wanted to send this review to the seller directly, but I don't see that option here, so I'm hoping they get it. I don't believe it is fair for me to be forced to purchase another Office package simply because they sold MY Product Key to more than just me.

Software that is defective is not eligible for a refund
3/5

Because the packaging had been opened, a refund for defective software was refused. Without opening it, I'm not sure how to tell if it works or not. The install code was rejected by Microsoft because it was not validated or accepted. I completely understand that there is no return policy for opened packaging for good but unwanted software, but there is none for bad software, and there is no offer of a replacement. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Amazon Marketplace has issued a refund.

I'm very pleased
5/5

It was simple to set up Office 2010 software on two computers. When I bought a new computer with Windows 10, I upgraded from Office 97. Although most of the programs are self-explanatory, I purchased "Outlook 2010 for Dummies" as a reference book in case I needed it. I haven't yet installed it on my laptop, but I don't expect any issues. If any new information becomes available, I will update my review. I was extremely disappointed that Outlook was not included in the package - However, I believe this is a Microsoft issue. I became perplexed when reviewing the purchase of 2010 Outlook and included a reference to Office 2010. When I ordered this, there weren't many left, so if you want one, you'll have to act quickly.

I guess- You have to take the good with the bad

Really, Amazon is a good place to shop. but. Baseball in the United States has a motto that goes like this: "Three strikes, and you're out. " Discount Capital, TechOutfitter, and JoeJohn79. . . they're all in on it! I purchased two copies of Office 10 Pro as well as two copies of Office Home and Business. Above-mentioned student Only trial versions of the suite's individual programs were uploaded. I followed the steps exactly as they were supposed to be taken. Along with the office software, I uploaded the shared programs, tools, and so on. The various links in the 'help' section did not work. The products were automatically activated with uploads, but only for a 30-day trial period. A seven-day trial period is available. I have my doubts: Perhaps at the conclusion of the trial, one could enter the product key and then call if the application is denied. I'm not going to wait 30 days while a window's alert box asks for permission to load every time I open a program. Jeez. I'm curious as to how Amazon selects service providers. Three scams in a row, oh, my! Not to mention the time and effort it took to package the returns and make the trips to the USP store. Amazon's return policy is certainly something for which I am grateful.

I'm just glad it worked out and that I now have a respectable
5/5

I ordered a "New in Retail package" disc version for three PCs, which arrived sealed and in good condition. Installed successfully on one PC, and it automatically activated online with the provided activation key code; however, for my other two PCs, I had to use the automated phone activation system, which requires talking to a voice recognition automated assistant and reading off a lengthy sequence of 6-digit numbers. digit number blocks, which can be completed in under a minute if you speak clearly or use your phone pad. I'm not sure if having to manually activate the last two means that this new in package was actually used somewhere and previous installs were not deactivated, but I'm just glad it worked and that I now have a decent office suite that I can use at home and at work. Even though it appears to be a large sum to pay all at once, it is a good value over time compared to the new monthly fee models. I plan on using it for several years and can't see myself using any of the newer office versions anytime soon. I tried some of the free suites available but became frustrated with minor differences that slowed my work. After all these years, Microsoft has remained the best.

Changes in design from previous Office versions are absolutely terrible
3/5

It's the same at work - Most people use less than 2010 of features, but MS insists on adding every command possible command possible command possible command possible command possible command possible command possible command possible Because the software is bloated and the command bar is cluttered, it's difficult to visually locate the command you're looking for. And we all despise the new knucklehead ribbon - What a load of bullsh*t! Our staff has had to re-train as a result of MS's "designers. " Every word should be learned. Excel is a program that allows you to The address of the Outlook command Maybe the people at Microsoft have nothing better to do than waste their time looking for commands in previous versions of Office. options that haven't changed in ten years, but in the real world, companies need to USE the software - not to squander time re-inventing the wheel figuring out how to put it to good use! And who decided that in order to print or change options, you had to exit the document view? visit the software's main page? Another pointless waste of time. It detracts from the user's ability to concentrate on the document at hand. And now there's a new Outlook that's even worse - unable to view in a safe manner Without first opening the email, copy the email header from a suspicious email! What MS genius came up with that one? They had never heard of unknown sender security, spam, or junk emails - not to mention the risk of opening a malicious attachment? Lack of attention is a common symptom of MS. They care about their customers. We wouldn't bother with this shoddy version if Office 2003 support wasn't about to end.
