Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 Old Version

I recently bought a new computer and needed to install at the very least Excel and Word, as I use them frequently in my personal computing. Well, more Excel than Word; I primarily use Word to print mailing labels. Excel was still required, and the old computer's version was older than 2003! I do have a small netbook that I use when visiting friends, and while the pre-2003 version works, I'm thinking about upgrading it at some point. I'm retired and only use these things on my own time; I don't use them for business, so I didn't want to buy the Washington Monument just to use the sidewalk that leads to it. I also didn't want to rent the top floor of the Empire State Building just to see the view once, so the cloud Versions were not appealing to me. I don't need to stay up to date on software like my neighbors do. I'm content as long as it meets my current requirements. This purchase was ideal because it fit into my budget and allowed me to install it on three of my computers. My wife has a laptop, but she rarely uses Excel or Word; however, I may load this on it so that when I use her computer, I have access to the same files as I do on mine. It was a top-notch purchase, and the company from which it was ordered was also top-notch. I am completely satisfied with my purchase and will return to this business in the future.

This version of Office is a nice improvement over the 2003 version I was using previously. Excel was a little odd in that it kept crashing until I tweaked it with a couple of tweaks I found on the Office Community pages. However, I'm upgrading to 2013 this week due to the fact that mainstream support for 2007 is set to expire this fall (October 2017). It was relatively simple to set up, and it allowed me to keep my Office 2003 version without difficulty. Converting my old jspreadsheets to the 2007 format was simple, but I strongly recommend saving any Excel sheets in the 2007 format xlsm (macro enabled) because until I did that, all of my docs would freeze up and Excel would crash every time I opened one. I gave Word a quick test drive and it appears to be fine. I particularly like the ease with which I can insert tables. I haven't tried Word on any of my larger documents (such as a 700-page novel), but I don't anticipate any issues. Overall, I enjoy it, but I will continue to upgrade.

This version of Microsoft Word has served me well for many years and continues to do so. This version supports all of the common document formats, such as. doc and . docx and are two types of documents that can be used to create a document. rtf and . It also supports a variety of other, more specialized formats, such as txt. It also lets you save Word documents as PDFs, which is useful on occasion. This program is what I use to write self-published novels. publishing, which necessitates some fancy formatting here and there, and it has served me admirably in this capacity thus far. It enables me to format my documents in a variety of styles, typically 6" by 9" in size, though I do occasionally publish on Smashwords in 8 1/2" x 11" format. Word is relatively simple to use for me, though I took some time to learn all of the features I needed. Because Word's "Help" function isn't very useful, I'd recommend getting a tutorial manual or program to walk you through the features if you're new to Word. This is a version of the program that is no longer in use; Since this version was released, there has been a 2010 and a 2013 version, and it is best to keep up with software updates. Only purchase this program if you intend to use it on a computer that has Windows Vista installed. br>br>In terms of Word, it's a fantastic program that should meet all of your word processing needs now and in the future. It's the way things are going in the industry. There's a reason why he's known as a setter. It's fantastic!.

That's exactly what I was looking for! I can't stand how Microsoft seems to change the layout and functionality of their software every few months or so. I'm used to the older look of Microsoft Office and prefer to have upgraded features like the ability to use macros, etc. I chose this version because I use a lot of macros in my spreadsheets. My old Excel 2003 wasn't cutting it anymore, and I don't like Office 2010's layout. Purchasing this 2007 edition was a happy medium, and I chose Amazon over eBay because I knew that as a Prime member, I have certain guarantees that I can count on, and I was able to have it delivered in less than 24 hours thanks to next day delivery on a Sunday. Amazon has done an excellent job. Thank you for continuing to sell "outdated" software to those of us who are set in our ways!.
