It's never been difficult to upgrade WordPerfect. Almost all of your preferences are automatically transferred. This upgrade gives me a little more power with PDF documents, so I only have to re-insert a couple of macros. As an attorney working on documents, I much prefer WordPerfect to Word. Word documents are bloated, and changing codes is difficult. It's very simple to use WordPerfect with the bottom-mounted code viewing panel. Every time I get a new Word document, I end up removing about half of the useless code.

I've been using WordPress for over 20 years and have kept it up to date on a regular basis (though not every time a new version is released). My most recent upgrade was to X9, and I'm now on version 21. So far, I haven't noticed any significant changes in the program that I use. Although I have Word installed on my computer, WordPerfect is my preferred word processor.
