I've used several other versions at work for over 20 years, and I frequently used Word Perfect to create documents, which I then easily imported into the company's required software. br>br>There are a lot of great features, but my favorite is Word Perfect's image placement. Revel Codes is a feature that allows you to customize your properties. br>br>It's a lot easier to place images than it is to place text. Other software companies don't appear to understand how to do this, so keep it in Word Perfect. br>br>Over the years, the Revel Codes feature has saved me a lot of time. Many issues with the company's documents that couldn't be resolved with the software they were using were easily resolved with Word Perfect's Revel Codes feature, which reveals what's really going on and allows you to easily fix what you or the technical writing department can't fix with other software packages. br>br>Word Perfect will also open documents from the 1990s, when I was in school and used the DOS-based version of the program. br>br>It's been over ten years since I updated my old version. I'm using a virtual PC on a Mac to upgrade to Windows 10, and I figured I'd start with a newer version here. The interface is the same, the features are the same, and the interface is still simple to use.

But I needed a font that wasn't included in Windows 10, so I contacted Corel support, which turned out to be a waste of time. Support can only be reached via email, and all they seem to do is create tickets that are then passed on to others with no action taken. I even received incorrect information from support; great product, but no Corel support; if you have a problem installing, forget about contacting Corel.

I paid over $500 to rent Microsoft Word for Windows 10 (a product that was previously included in their software package when you purchased a PC). It took less than 5 minutes to load on my Windows 10 PC and works perfectly! I would recommend this to anyone who is tired of being enslaved by Microsoft Word in Windows 10 and wants a great word processor.

It appears to have a niche user base of legal professionals who appreciate its robust formatting and legal document-oriented features. It can work with Word documents, which helps it stay competitive, and the WP Suite is a steal compared to Microsoft's per-machine license (though the subscription-based version is more expensive). If you have a large number of users, Office 365 Home is far less expensive per user). Overall, if you work in the legal field or simply want something other than Word, this is a respectable alternative.

Since 1986, I've used WordPress. Unlike Word, which appears to change formatting every time you start a new paragraph, it produces high-quality documents that appear professional. This is where I keep my appellate court briefs and other legal documents. I enjoy being able to use the format buttons while letting my fingers do the walking. I also like that I can set the program to back up my document every 10 seconds automatically. This program is the best if you do production documentations; I've never been able to find an auto backup in Word.

I've been using WordPerfect for a long time. I made the decision to upgrade from the X7 that I had been using for several years. I appreciate the fact that WordPerfect does not release newer versions, forcing you to learn how to use them. They don't change how you do things you've been doing for years, so upgrading to a new version requires you to relearn how things work. Microsoft's office suite, which I used at work, was updated, and I found myself unable to complete tasks and having to learn new methods.

The WordPerfect OfficeX9 software was delivered to me. A load attempt was made. It'd only get so far before giving up. It didn't work no matter how hard I tried. I contacted WordPerfect Tech Support and worked with them on a daily basis. They emailed me a download link that I needed to install. Under that serial number, it wouldn't install. Either it was previously installed or the disk is defective. SAM's provided me with a second copy of software. Under the new serial number, I was able to install it without issue. As a result, I'm now $158 in the hole. That's no good for the original purchase of 36.

The features and ease of use have always been appealing to me. I also enjoy not having to follow the "Microsoft way" of doing things. " I've been using WP Suite 8 for a long time and have been hesitant to upgrade because I was afraid that everything would change with each new release. Over the years, there have been about a dozen upgrades, so I expected a lot of changes in the way things are done. After purchasing a new computer, I decided to upgrade to WP Office X9. Not only were there no significant UI changes after installation (which went as smoothly as glass), but my old data files that I had created many years ago all worked perfectly without any conversions or other irritating problems. This has never happened to me with any other software from any other provider. THANK YOU SO MUCH, Corel! Good Job!.
