Having spent three hours on this, I finally managed to remove ALL anti-virus software Therefore, nothing could interfere with the download, as the computer was protected by an anti-virus/firewall program. I restarted Windows after logging into my internet connection and it seems to be working well. It was installed on a brand new Dell Laptop, which ran Win10 for the first time. Differences between the two are nonexistent I tried downloading the Amazon Installer repeatedly and was always unsuccessful. When you find out you got screwed, it does not even appear that you can get a refund. As a result, I downloaded the software from Microsoft's store, where it was installed without a hitch. Amazon should hire a competent programmer in order to fix this mess and get off its duff. I will see if my credit card company can reverse the payment for this disgusting junk in the meantime.

My laptop has been unable to install Office 365 subscription, i have tried the instructions for an hour just to get the "installer" installed. My only option is to go to Office Max and purchase the software there, there is no way to get a refund or return it.

I've been a fan of Amazon for quite a while now, so I decided to give this format of buying Office 365 a try. I wasted a great deal of time and money on this! This was pathetic - even for someone who has some knowledge of technology. I found it ridiculous to try and download the Games and Software Downloader. Despite trying everything I could think of to fix the problem, nothing worked. Due to the fact that this is NONRETURNABLE, the $70 goes down the drain. I don't even think it should be listed as a "1" It is rated as five stars. Your Amazon crap needs to be fixed. From now on, I will be canceling my Amazon Prime membership.

If you always have a good, secure internet connection, this is great. If you often do not, this is not so great. Microsoft must be trusted not to get hacked, which after showing their programming and internet capabilities in the past (ask me why I was looking for a replacement application set for now) I am unwilling to trust anything covered under security protocols or strict ND's on their cloud service. As soon as I deleted it, Office 365 was deleted as well.

Since I needed this software for work and school, I was pleased that I could download it immediately and that it didn't take a long time. Although I still find it a bit annoying to have to pay yearly for it! Wow, Microsoft really milks the consumer for all it's worth! I'm an apple guy with a need for a MS office solution. The app connects easily to O365 from Mac, iPhone and iPad, automates local saves and local downloads, and fully features O365 including email and Skype capabilities. Additionally, there are several APIs that will connect you to your virtual OneDrive account, where you can access all your files, even when you are not connected to your network (I use FileGo pro).

A software company advertised imitation software for $29, stating it is the same piece of software. She persuaded me to buy real product for $62 because she knows how much I appreciate it.
