You should be able to convert them if you just make sure you don't delete them when you uninstall an old program. If you don't have any issues but have them saved, you should be able to convert them.
Yes. To answer DGP's "wonder," people stopped using it because the first Windows versions were EXTREMELY buggy, and development was slowed to a crawl once the product was sold to Corel. br>br>WordPerfect was once the most feature-rich Word Processor available, and Quattro Pro could compete with Excel. They now only update WordPerfect to the bare minimum, and this is the first update to Quattro in more than a decade - and it's just a search function...br>br>With Office Home and Student being so inexpensive, it's difficult to justify purchasing WPO for many minor tasks or personal preferences. br>br>Windows 11 was also released recently, so if anything goes wrong, you'll have to upgrade. Corel has never issued a patch for backwards compatibility. Those who purchased X7 and then upgraded to Windows 10 discovered this the hard way. I'm sure I did. This is what prompted me to return to Microsoft Office, because they provide much better support, and I haven't experienced any of the horror stories mentioned in the comments.
Yes, there are a variety of templates available for various types of labels. You're ready to go once you've entered the data into the template.
On two of my computers, I have WordPerfect installed. I had no trouble downloading it to either computer, and I was ready to perform my first task on them in about five to ten minutes.

I'm not convinced that the upgrade from WP2020 is significant, but the technology, especially in terms of user experience, is. WordPerfect's friendliness, logic, and power make it so superior to the competition that it is well worth the investment. Unfortunately, because MSWord is included, the majority of others use it, which is a shame. Because of WP's ability to reveal codes and structure a document without MSWord's incorrect guessing of what I want, they have no idea what they're missing. WP2021 is the best buy because editing is more powerful, and the logic of things (where they are, how they work, how they're integrated, and so on) makes it the best buy.
At work, I use Office 365, which is extremely unreliable, with explorer, as well as the Excel and Access programs, closing unexpectedly in the middle of a task. I've definitely learned to put money aside on a regular basis. Share Point was the result of their brainstorming. With folders, they initially followed the same depth and naming conventions as they did in the 1990s. I'm closing and re-opening teams. open all the time My team isn't a big fan of the New York Jets. a long time ago a few decades - In the past, I worked in an environment where WordPerfect was used. I thought it was a better product back then, so I'm installing it on my new personal home computer instead of the one I use to VPN to work, which I match to the work machine in theory to avoid compatibility issues. I've been dissatisfied with Microsoft's handling of cross-platform sharing since it became unstable and snoopy. What's more, guess what? I haven't had any random closures with WordPerfect, and it's also less expensive. As a result of being less temperamental, I am much happier. One disadvantage I discovered during the conversion was that some date and time fields in Excel lost their formatting, but this was not the case once I switched from Excel to WordPerfect and back. I even tried to persuade my wife to make the switch, but she was hesitant due to the steep learning curve. I can use it in WordPerfect and then convert it to Office if I need to share it with someone else. Yes, there is a learning curve, but I am much happier as a result of it. Instead of renewing licensing that you don't know what will break or change next, go retro with a stable product you own. Although their changes aren't always for the better, you do have a stable and cost-effective alternative to Office 365 - WordPerfect Office is the name of the program.
So I couldn't pass up the opportunity to buy it again for around $50. br>However, in comparison to MS Office products, I find the other Word Perfect Office products to be less appealing. For starters, in my recent experience with Quattro Pro, it is not as stable as Excel. My 32- bit Quattro Pro (on a 64-bit processor) When trying to open and use Excel files on the Windows platform, it frequently gets stuck, displaying a 'don't bother me, I'm trying to untangle this mess you asked me to open' message. 'br>br>Another issue I have with Quattro is that it does not completely replicate Excel in terms of shortcut keys and sorting, among other things. There is no right-click option to sort a spreadsheet in favor of the column you're in, and the a-z option is not available. z or z- a selection from the right-hand menu click. Instead, you must open a dialog from the Tools menu and select your preferences to get a sort. br>br>I particularly dislike the way Word Perfect Office manages Excel extensions, overriding your Default Extension settings.
I used it in business years ago, but had to switch to Word because so many businesses were using the software that came with their computers, and they couldn't translate my files (I never had any trouble translating their files). I bought this new one to convert some files for my husband, who has never used anything else, as well as some older files that I couldn't read any longer. He enjoys his copy, and I use mine when I have the opportunity.
The "Play Macro" screen appears out of nowhere while I'm typing, causing my screen to freeze. I also can't get rid of the "Play Macro" screen, which prevents me from accessing my document. The only way to get rid of it is to close WordPerfect, which will result in the loss of a portion of my transcript. It will sometimes pop up and close WordPerfect at the same time, which is extremely inconvenient, and the customer support people are even more difficult to understand.
If you need more than a word processor, this isn't a good choice. Presentations is forgettable, and Quattro Pro isn't good. In comparison to Excel, there is far too much quality of life missing. There is a huge disparity. As a result, even for educational purposes, this suite is difficult to sell. br>br>Moreover, WordPerfect lacks Word Extensions such as the Editor and Microsoft's high-quality templates. br>br>I would not purchase again. br>br>I attempted it for the second time. Then there was X7, and then there was this version. If you use Predo, LibreOffice is a better all-around package. The word processor, unfortunately. br>br>I believe it ranks low in terms of ease of use. 1. br>br> The year is 2021, and we've arrived at the year 2021. The Office Ribbon has been around for a long time and is now integrated into Windows. It is well-known to the majority of people. It does a fantastic job of organizing functionality. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br Menus and toolbars are still present in WPO, but they are disorganized. The menus are overly condensed, and they're even worse than in Windows 3. The same applications are available in one version. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. Some frequently used functions are not available by default on the keyboard. br>br>4. Makes a concerted effort to keep non-union employees. To describe functionality, we use standard marketing terms. br>br>On high-resolution displays, the UI isn't very good. It's not terrible, but it's also not great. br>br>2 stars because it's essentially freeware that costs the same as perpetual Office and hasn't been updated in a long time. The new template browser is not yet available in Quattro or Presentations. what?.
