bought this new version on Amazon instead of going after Adobe because I needed Adobe Pro to work immediately. Since my 5 year old copy of Adobe Acrobat Pro just stopped working, I decided not to continue trying to resolve the problem. The program is essential to my daily life. Nevertheless, since it is the discounted teacher/student version, we have to verify it. It took us only a few minutes to find the program, but then we had to figure out where it was Amazon does not have a download button on your software purchases, and customer service is unsure how to find the program to install. Adobe was also unable to assist with the problem. Then I google enough and discovered that to activate the program you must go to a random place on Adobe, download the program from THEM (not Amazon), and then enter your serial number. I don't see the point of buying it from Amazon since there is no benefit to it. Regardless of where you shop, you get the same discount.

Before you can obtain the required number for installation, you must verify your identity as a student or professor. Due to a confusing change in Google's search algorithm, the old form that appears when you search for "student status verification" is no longer accessible. Customer service had to help me direct my attention to the correct website. Following that, I received a serial number and was able to install the program without errors (note that you will need to download the program from Adobe's website, you can find the download page for both the windows and mac editions by searching for "Download Acrobat Pro 2020"). The software failed to run at the end of the process. There have been numerous times when I've tried to contact Adobe support, and they have been terrible. In light of this experience, I would think twice about reaching for any software from Amazon and certainly would not consider purchasing anything from Adobe going forward.

This was purchased 6 days ago, and I haven't been able to get it to work. As a result, I received my verification serial number in an email. I was instructed to come back here to install it. It does not appear that a "Download" button is available. Currently there is only an "Error" button that has been emitting an error message for six.
