It's not something I'd advise you to do. These were created with reptiles and tropical fish in mind, and there's no reason to believe they'd be suitable for cats.
This item is not suitable for snakes, but it is ideal for aquatic turtles.
Yes. My only issue is that the bags are covered in crumbs or flakes.
These are river shrimp that have been dried. The only difference could be their origins.

br>br>I'm a new Oscar fish owner, and these were purchased as a special treat for him. The only advantage is that he can choose from a variety of sizes, which will be useful as he grows. My Oscar loves them, and the package is bigger than I expected (I bought the 2oz). This is why I rated it two out of five stars. br>br>However, after finding fish, snails, old rotting shrimp, and a few pieces of hard dark brown plastic, I ended up dumping the bag out and picking through it. As a result of the shipping crushing them, half of the bag was powder. (This is not Amazon's fault; it's just bad packaging)br>br>IF YOU DO PURCHASE THIS, PLEASE READ THE BAG BEFORE FEEDING.
I bought it because of the price; it's a lot less expensive than the ones I used to buy in stores, so I thought I was getting a good deal. Unfortunately, I guess I get what I pay for, because it's mostly empty shells and shrimp heads. When compared to the ones we used to feed our turtles and fish, this one has very little meat on it. I understand it's dried out, but seeing mostly shells and very little meat is a letdown. I'm not sure if it's just our bag, but I'm not going to buy anything else. Because they won't eat it, I end up cleaning it even more.
They provide a lot of product for the money, and they have no negative impact on the water quality! br>These are a favorite snack of the two baby turtles. If you reach your hand in, the little shrimp tails WILL stick in your hand if you grab a handful of them the wrong way. br>In addition, keep an eye out for a lurking cat. They'll take the entire bag and rip a hole in it to get at the baby shrimp inside. It turned out to be a colossal flop. Fortunately, the quantity is excellent, especially given the low price, so there were plenty left after the cat swiped them. In addition, unlike other brands, they leave the water clean, clear, and odorless.
br>br>At first, he was shy and would hide when I came into the room to feed or visit him, but now he will actually take the shrimp from my hand. (I pinch one end of the shrimp between my index and thumbs and place the other end in the water slightly. ) br>br>He eats them without hesitation. A happy turtle eats three shrimp every morning and evening. br>br>Would strongly advise.
These shrimp are very popular among my turtles. The shrimp are mostly whole and very clean, with a variety of sizes in the bag - This is useful because I have three turtles of various sizes - Others have mentioned that the bag contains a lot of trash, but that hasn't been my experience with this product - Almost every shrimp in the bag is whole and perfect - Because they are hard and basically crunchy, I was concerned about feeding them dry to my turtles, but they don't seem to mind - They are unable to consume them quickly enough - I only eat these as a treat and not as a primary source of nutrition.
However, I heard that if you put it in tuna water, they might eat it. I tried feeding it to him every day but he would never take it, so I concluded that I had wasted my money and that my turtle would never like it. Until one day when I was feeding him his food, which he always ate, and I decided to give him another shrimp, which he ACTUALLY ATE? I was pleasantly surprised, so give it some time, perhaps two weeks? Mine took a little longer, but I'm sure he'll grow to love the food eventually; now he gets excited when I open the bag. br>br>(THANKS FOR READING THE ENTIRE THING).
Waldo is completely enthralled by this. like frantically swimming and swooshing the water, as if I were at Sizzler! It's a big hit with him. It'll be difficult to return to those phony little pellets once you've tried this. Get these for yourself (meaning you, yurtel)!.
Turtle 2 is wary of discussing its preferences, but it is something Turtle 2 looks for when food is dropped into its turtle pond, so I'm not sure about the sheerness (is that a quality that can be measured?). ) So it gets a 5 star rating because it's devoured. Glad they didn't ask about the taste.
