I'm not sure what jumbo bites are, but the pellets are about 3/4" long and have smaller round bites about the size of a peppercorn sprinkled throughout.

If ever there was a spoiled, picky turtle, this would be it. Z0- E's it! THIS FOOD MAKES HER VERY HAPPY. DID IT ALL THE TIME! About three years ago, I started feeding this specific brand. It has completely enslaved her! She's been with me since she was the size of a quarter, and she's now 13 years old! Almost the same size as a medium-sized dog. dinner-size plate! There are no photos available. Maybe in a future post. br>Thanks for a fantastic product!! Mx. Maxine S.
updated: Fantastic. The pellets that come in the tri-pack appeal to my turtle. Much better food. He'll eat them, but the others would drive him insane. br>However, the cost of the sum was reasonable. I would have gone with his regular food if I had known he wouldn't go insane over them. Of course. br>However, he continues to eat them. Update. br>br> Five stars have been added. I came across one of the little red food balls in the canister after a few days. I was expecting my turtle to emerge from the tank in search of more food. He obsesses over them to the point of insanity. He also adjusted to this brand's floating sticks, so everything is fine.
at the very least mutants! I was so worried that my little guy wouldn't like the food because of the tiny power pellets, but he actually enjoys them. Except for the floating sticks provided by this company, he's a picky eater.
I wish they didn't use small red pellets in this food. The waste from my turtle was red, and the un- The few red pellets that were consumed turned into red sludge as they passed through the filter. They don't degrade well even after digestion, forming sludge and algae, and the red dye is so strong that it even dyed the motor in my filters (which is now purple instead of light blue)! I've had my RES for 11 years and she's healthy and loves to eat, but the extra work that comes with this food is not something I would recommend.
These contain everything he requires to remain healthy, with the added benefit of odor control.
I've been using this product/brand for years with no problems. This was my first online purchase, and everything went as planned. It's a good base food for turtles because it floats and crumbles/breaks up when they eat it, but catfish don't. Water clouding was never an issue with feeders because they cleaned up the bits.
I bought the adult turtle formula because she had stopped eating the regular ReptoMin for some reason. I figured that since she was 18, that was exactly what she required. She won't touch anything with bugs or shrimp in it. She adores Krill treats, and she recently discovered some sticks that contain all of the same ingredients as ReptoMin. I'm not sure what the distinction is. She smells the food before she eats it, so I know she knows the difference. I mixed in a few sticks of ReptoMin adult formula with the new sticks, and she didn't seem to mind. In addition, I noticed that the adult formula quickly turns white, making it easier to remove.
My turtle enjoys it, but she eats too much at times, causing the tank to become dirty. One disadvantage is that if the turtle doesn't finish it all, the stick dissolves in the tank water and becomes dirty, whereas the shrimps float and I can remove the leftovers.
