The float sticks are a big hit with my turtle. They stay on the surface for a while before sinking to the bottom. Other than that, my turtle won't eat anything else - These are her favorite. The large barrel provides me with enough food to feed my aquatic turtle for a while before I need to reorder - Her caraspace is 12 inches and she is 17 years old.
In the late 1980s, I received my first turtle, and in 1999, I received my second. I've tried a lot of different foods, and ReptoMin has the best quality and nutrition of any commercial food I've tried. Nightcrawlers, minnows, insects, crayfish, lettuce, pickerel weed, fruit, and raw beef and chicken are occasionally added to the mix. It doesn't matter what they eat, they'll eat it. br>br>My first turtle lived for 25 years, and my second is still going strong at 19 years old.
This is a must-have in the diets of my pet turtles. This is something they have on a regular basis. I've been raising my prized love red eared slider for over 35 years and my lil' squirt red eared slider for over 7 years, and tetra reptomin floating food sticks are an absolute necessity for their health and well-being. being. Freshness is ensured by the packaging of a high-quality product. I will not use any other brand because I have complete confidence in this one.
With the amount I bought, I made fewer or no trips to the store. Fast shipping, accurate description, excellent product; shop with confidence; this seller will not let you down!.
Flavor 5 stars because it is a favorite of my two turtles, but I have never tried it. Turtles find it very simple to eat - They eat half of it after biting through it. Because it doesn't have to soften in the water, it doesn't make a mess in the tank like other foods. If the turtles don't go after it, the fish will eat the small pieces.
I thought these would be great because you get so much for your money, but my turtle seems to dislike them. When I put some in her tank, she approaches it as if she's going to eat it, then quickly turns away and swims to the other side of the tank, leaving these things to float around on top. Any other food I give her is quickly devoured. I guess it's a bummer for me. She is a turtle who lives in the water. It's possible that's a factor.
When I couldn't find the brand of food my turtle had been eating, I switched her to this one without issue. I had expected the bucket to be a little bigger, but it's still cheaper than buying smaller-sized buckets. sized packages from your local pet store or Walmart.
