The feeder isn't near any water, so I have no idea. If they are kept in the feeder for too long, I believe they will sink because they will become clumpy and moldy.

No, praying mantis only eats live or moving insects.
I'm not sure how much salt is in them, but they make the chickens go crazy. I put some in a pan whenever I want them to return to their pen, and all I have to do is shake the pan, and they appear from wherever they are. The 5 pound bag is what I purchase. bag now. I just throw a handful out with the birdseed I give out every morning, and it seems to work. In addition, I put some mealworms in a reptile dish away from the wild bird's main feeding area. Cardinals, Doves, and Bluejays So far, all of my critters are content with the high-quality dried mealworms that have arrived. I enjoy seeing how excited they are about this new addition to mealtimes. The 1 pound bag is quite generous for the price, and it does, in fact, reseal. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with my purchase!.
They made this game, and it's a lot of fun! They've done an excellent job of training me.
However, they must be delivered in a box. I've ordered these for the birds on several occasions, and they usually arrive in a box. My most recent shipment arrived in a plastic mail bag. You can imagine how easily the dried worms would have broken if they hadn't been protected by a box. That was a letdown, but the end result is still fantastic.

This is the second time I've placed an order with this company. The fact that they are freeze-dried is fantastic. Unlike others, which arrive in a container with mostly broken pieces at the bottom, this one is well packaged.
She seems to like them (and I wanted to give her something other than those meal stick things) and they should last a long time. I was surprised by how big the bag is!.
In decades, this is the best meal I've had. If only the birds would stop eating them all, that would be great.
These were purchased in order to replenish the bird feeders. It's a huge hit with the birds. They look for these instead of regular birdseed.
