Until she grows a little bigger, this might be a better option for her to eat. The adult formula has pieces that are nearly an inch long. She could probably bite them in half, but most turtles prefer to eat them whole when they have the opportunity.

I'm taking care of a baby Yellow Bellied Slider that got into my Koi pond. I placed him/her in a terrarium (also purchased from Amazon), and this baby turtle devours the food with gusto, as if he or she enjoys it.
It simply sinks to the bottom after a few seconds, prompting the turtle to seek it out. It's not a big deal because they're scavengers, but it can get lost, causing your tank to overflow with ammonia and debris. I'll most likely return to the adult floating sticks, which float until consumed.
The only problem is that you won't be able to keep them for long because you can't stop feeding turtles in the pond outside! Haha.
Although the pellets were labeled as juvenile, they were too large for my tiny turtles. Moreover, two days later, my turtles died. I'm not sure if it was the food or if there were other factors at play. br>However, I have faith in this.
This is a more affordable option than purchasing it from a pet store. It's a fantastic deal; in the pet stores where I've been, a small tub of it costs more than this.
