Yes, I think that is correct. The breeder gave us this to feed our Sulcata tortoise when we bought it last year, and I keep ordering it from Amazon.

This feed is a hit with my Redfoots!! I feed them two dishfuls once a week. They get romaine lettuce and other vegetables the rest of the time. br>I'm astounded at how quickly they consume this. I soak the pellets in water for a few minutes to soften them up while maintaining their nugget shape. br>I'm going to buy some more. 25 lb. bag. I supplement his greens with a few soaked pellets a few times a week, and he thrives on it.
If I give them dry, they are too hard; if I soak them in water, they are soft and spongy; however, no matter what I do, my Sulcatas refuse to eat it, and I end up making a mess.
I tried both this and the new Zoomed, and my Redfoot Tortoise prefers this over the Zoomed Forest Tortoise food.
This is something I use on a weekly basis to supplement the diet of my Russian tortoises. I soak it in water, and they devour it.
I softened it by soaking it. I'll give it another shot.
Apart from vegetables, it's the only thing my tortoise eats.
