It appeals to Turtle

Better quality control is something that everyone wishes for. Tallulah Belle, our yellow bellied slider, loves shrimp, meal worms, and crickets. Except for the first nine months, when she struggled with the size of the crickets and nearly always left behind their heads, she eats every single bite of food in her tank. When she sees the Fluker's jar being opened, TB goes crazy, kicking and splashing. But, on the other hand, she does the same thing whenever I open any food container in front of her because she's a never-say-no kind of person. We fed TB turtle food sticks and Fluker's Aquatic Turtle Medley every other day for the first year of her life, supplemented with vegetation, for the first year of her life. She's been on a plant-based diet for about a year and a half now. heavy, and it's aided by 1- Fluker's Medley Treat (she now eats the entire cricket) and Fluker's Buffet Blend are consumed twice weekly. We always use calcium powder to dust the Fluker food. Tallulah Belle would most likely give this food a 4-star rating. 5 stars. My three-star rating is due to the fact that The lack of quality control is reflected in the star rating. Fluker's Medley Treat has a skewed distribution of tidbits: a lot of meal worms shrimp, and the crickets were a tad underdone. There are also discrepancies when it comes to whole, intact morsels. Here's what I've learned from three of them: 1. oz jars bought over a seven-month period: It used to be mostly full of unharmed animals. The dust and debris created by crushed critters were more noticeable in another jar, but the amount was still acceptable. The amount of dust was different at another time. The debris, which accounted for about a fifth of the contents, was unacceptable. I've included two comparison photos, one of which clearly shows when the dust and debris were at their worst, and the other of which clearly shows the absence of crickets. br>br>Overall, our aquatic turtle enjoys this food, and I'm crossing my fingers that I haven't jinxed it.

It gets 5 stars from my turtle:   My turtle is OBSESSED with this; I only wish I had purchased a larger size because he's already devoured it; I've never seen him eat anything so quickly before
5/5

I used to only feed him food sticks and small shrimp, but I wanted to add more protein to his diet, and he's loving it:.

This food is extremely expensive in stores, so the price is excellent
5/5

I was looking at the ounces and imagining the jars being much smaller, not considering the weight of small dried bugs. These jars are large, especially for the price, and I will never buy turtle food from anyone else. It is a big hit with my turtle.

The price and quality are incredible! Cringle, our turtle, is overjoyed that he no longer has to ration these
5/5

This jar is 8 oz. and is the same exact size as the previous one. 99 at our local big-name pet store, with a ton of "bug dust" in the bottom, shredding the bugs and making me wonder if it's really worth it to pay that much for a container of dust. I'm so glad I found this on Amazon! This is my third jar, and I have yet to be disappointed. It's not only much less expensive, but it's also of much higher quality! There isn't much "dust," and the bugs are huge and whole. Cringle eats them up and has begun to take them out of the jar if I keep it closed, so they must taste as good as they appear.

They're a hit with my turtle
5/5

I give these to my turtle to keep him from becoming bored with his special turtle food. This blend appears to be a hit with my turtle. Attempt to keep the food from settling too much when storing it. My turtle doesn't finish a container as quickly as I'd like — there's still a lot of sediment left, and I'm hesitant to use the rest because of how messy shaking out food can be. For the time being, I'm trying to avoid shaking the container too much, so I'm scooping up a serving with a children's spoon. This has worked well for me thus far. As a result, I'm hoping that when I feed my turtle, I don't disturb the bottom layers too much. Cya.

Cat Treats will love it
5/5

These are probably meant for turtles, but I figured I'd give them a shot for my cat because I'm trying to stay away from processed cat foods that are high in unnecessary carbohydrates and additives, which can be harmful to cats. In contrast, bugs, like mice and birds, are natural prey. And there's a whole slew of critters thrown in for good measure. Mealworms, crickets, and river shrimp are just a few of the creatures that can be found in the river. All of them are safe and healthy to eat for cats, with small exoskeletons that are easier to chew than grasshoppers. So that was my logic, but the real test was whether or not Kitty agreed. We've all heard about cats' notorious pickiness. br>br>Wait, there's more! These are his favorite treats of all; he gets excited when the jar is opened, chases them across the floor, and begs for more. There doesn't appear to be any other treat that makes him as happy. br>br>I'm not sure if every cat would enjoy them as much as my furball does (he's a picky eater), but he does, and I'm glad I have another treat option that I know is good for him.

For feeding, there is a good variety of buggies
4/5

My turtle went on a hunger strike because he had been eating the same food for years and didn't like it. He began to eat happily as soon as I fed him this. This is on my subscribe and save list, and it's a great mix for variety. My only complaint is that when I got to the bottom of a couple of containers, there was a lot of "dust. " However, the quality remains high, and Tyler, who is 20 years old, happily consumes it.

Turtle is a big fan of it
5/5

Two to three times a week, I feed this to my red-eared slider. Pellets are his main source of nutrition, and I supplement his diet with them on occasion as supplemental treats. This stuff is a big hit with my turtle. Crickets, worms, and shrimp are used to make it. The amount to feed is specified on the label, but I usually give as much as my turtle can consume in a minute or two, which is about two worms and two crickets. The turtle can easily eat this food because it floats on top of the water. It also does not disintegrate or produce a large amount of debris in the water. From what I've seen, it doesn't add any odor to the water and doesn't cloud it. br>In general, I believe it is an excellent supplement to regular pellet and real food feeding. I shouldn't be the turtle's sole source of nutrition. My 10-year-old red-eared slider loves it, and it's a good value for the money.
