It's the perfect size for a 75-gallon tank. That is why I purchased it. My hinge is replaced with a center brace. Because the brace is slightly recessed, I added a piece of weather stripping on top of it to ensure that my terrarium lights did not warp the screen.

Unfortunately, when I put it on the tank, it was about a half-inch too long and wide, despite the fact that my measurements were exactly as stated on the package. I'm dissatisfied with the size, but given how cheap it was, I suppose I shouldn't have expected perfection. Most tops in this size (48 x 18) retail for around 70 dollars. It was also bent, which was a problem. I'll have to add weights to the lid in order for it to straighten out. I believe that adding some weight to it will keep the crickets in the cage and out of my room. I don't think she'll get out of the cage because it's a bearded dragon, but I'll still need a top for her lights. It appears to be a little flimsy, but it will suffice. I'm just relieved that I've made it to the top.
This cover (36"x18") was made by Zilla in a smaller size for me. I recommend ordering the Zilla version instead of this one if it is available in the size you need. The price is comparable, and the screen material is essentially the same, but the metal frame on the Zilla version is much more durable, and the frame does not twist when you move it around. br>br>While this may not be a big deal when it's on your tank, it could be a big deal when it comes time to ship. This item was difficult to ship and was poorly packaged. The first one I ordered was 50% crushed flat and the second one was 50% crushed flat and the third one The second was slightly damaged, but it could be repaired and used. Because the Zilla frame is more durable, it may be easier to ship.
The mesh is too large, and the metal frame is too flimsy, so this lid is warped. I'm not sure how long this lid will last with the lamps on it, but we'll see.
The product is exactly what it claims to be.
This is ideal for large tanks.
This screen fits perfectly in my Red Tailed Boa tank, and it is heavy duty and heat resistant. I mist the tank every day and have had it for about 5 months with no signs of rust. All you need are a few screen clips and you're ready to go. It's inexpensive, long-lasting, and it gets the job done. Is there anything else you might require?.
I would not recommend this seller because it arrived between two pieces of cardboard with no support or protection, and it also doesn't fit all 75 gallon tanks (it didn't fit mine).
The lid was shattered and bent, which was a huge let down!.
