Questions & Answers

If there are two clips in each bag, why does one set bring three packs? So there are 6 clamps in total because the description says 2 clips per bag but I only see 3 bags?

You will receive three packs. Two clips are included in every pack. As a result, there are six clips.

Is it possible to use them on a ten gallon tank?

Any size take will work as long as there is a rim around the top: )br>br>I have mine in a 40 gallon breeder, but it would be equally at home in a 10 gallon or 100 gallon aquarium.

Is it made of metal or plastic?

Metal. There'd be no point in using plastic clips.

Will these work with Exo Terra that doesn't have a lid lock?

These are for the'mesh' metal lid with the hinged middle that goes on the large aquarium. They're great, and I never unlatch them because they're on the side of the door I don't use.

Now Houdini won't be able to get away! For obvious reasons, my ball python's name is Houdini

We'd tried everything we could think of to keep him in his crate. (Despite the fact that we had 20 pounds of weights on top of his tank, he still managed to get away. ) "Well, if these don't work, I'm not out a lot of money," I reasoned as I purchased them. "br>Since I put these on, Houdini hasn't gotten out of his cage. His tank's top is securely fastened. I used a total of four, one for each of the four corners. When I need to take him out, I can easily remove them. I'm completely blown away. I purchased more for other cages simply because they work so well and keep everything safe and secure.

The clips meet my expectations

I thought I'd need more than two clips, so I ordered the three-pack. I'm a 55-year-old woman with a lot of experience. A snake in a gallon tank that likes to get out. The locks are very sturdy and can be clipped on with one hand, but they require two hands to remove. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and would recommend them to anyone. If anyone requires them, I now have two extra packs.

My snake is trapped and will not be able to get away

Because my snake loved to escape, I used two 10-pound weights on the top of her terrarium. Instead, I put five of these clips in her terrarium, and she hasn't been able to get out since. They're small and simple to remove, but they're designed to stay put if your pet pushes up against the lid.

To keep determined snakes in and curious toddlers out, this is an absolute must. I just got these clips and put them on my 40 gallon breeder tank with a hinged screen top for my ball python. They're simple to put together; all you have to do is adjust them to fit your specific lid and tank. The lid isn't going anywhere once they've been put on. Should the need arise, I will most certainly purchase these again.

That's exactly what I was looking for! My new 55 gallon tank's lid was a perfect fit! I had some older "large" clips from another manufacturer, but they didn't come close to fitting

These keep the lid on tight (to the point where I can barely get them off), which means my snake can't get out, so two thumbs up!.

These are the only tank clamps I use because I've tried a lot of others and a large strong enough snake can usually get out of them

These are shallow enough to securely attach an aquarium screen to the tank; just make sure you have more on the sides with longer stretched sides.

Can be used to fill a 40 gallon tank

These are what I use to keep my ball python from trying to get out of her 40 gallon tank, and they work great! I had to slightly stretch one (another person had mentioned it, so I was prepared), but once I got them over, they work great and aren't difficult to remove.
