This cover is a perfect fit for my 55 gallon tank. It's exactly what I was looking for. I had to cut out some space in order for it to fit around my filters. Two weeks ago, I had a fish jump out and nearly die as a result of some very aggressive breeding attempts, and now this lid will help to prevent that from happening again. (The fish is fine; I put her in quarantine and she recovered completely. ) ) I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

For my bearded dragon terrarium, I purchased one of these. When I first opened it, I was struck by how cheap and flimsy it felt; however, when I put the top on and turned on the heat lamp and UV light lamp, the cover began to smell like it was burning, and I had to return it.

This lid has done an excellent job of keeping our Beardie safe from these furry predators. This lid is very comfortable for the cats to sit on, and they will lay on it for hours. The screen stayed put the entire time, which is great for keeping our little guy safe. br>The screen is the perfect fit for our tank; it's not too tight and not too loose, so no cats will be able to pry the lid off.
This is very light weight, so it's not very sturdy; one of the end rails was bent before it was packaged; however, I was able to straighten it and it fit my tank perfectly. As a result, make sure your lamps are light-weight as well, or else they may cause the structure to buckle. The final fit was perfect on the outside.
Fits my 55 gallon tank perfectly (although a little snug, which isn't a problem). People complain about how flimsy it is, but I've seen worse brands, and given the dimensions (long and narrow), you shouldn't expect it to feel like a steel beam. When you order a screen with these dimensions, it's common for it to arrive warped. This one, thankfully, arrived in good condition.
