In all likelihood you could return it if it doesn't fit a quarter horse or a thoroughbred as I have used them on very large horses and they do stretch, so I would say possibly you could return it if it doesn't fit you.

Fly masks are designed to help horses see clearly through them and to be comfortable for them to wear. In the case of horses who like to play and pull each other's fly masks off, simply put a previous one with the eye netting removed over the new one and you are ready to ride.
These masks are nice. It's easy to put the horses on. There are no obvious signs of discomfort in the horses. I bought two for the first time, but one of the tabs to help pull it on came off quickly. I contacted the seller, and he replaced it for me. A few days later, the second one was completely removed from the second one. Despite the fact that I had to keep the defective one, they sent me a replacement without charging for it. It will take time to tell how durable it is and how long it lasts, but I plan to buy it again once the time comes.
I have many Professional Choice masks due to my mare who has a jaw injury that must be covered, but it seems the price has The two masks I tried were a little less expensive but their results seem to be pretty similar to the others. It's really more of a burgundy than a red, but it's still great value.
Good morning, everyone! Here is a photo of Mickey. He is a quarter horse/arabic mix (I had to get him as a rescue, and he looks great). I got this fly mask because he kept getting flys in his eyes, irritating them despite me spraying fly spray. I thought I should get one, so I did. As of now, it is very stretchy, very light, very thin, and doesn't seem to irritate his delicate skin. His head is kinda a weird size, like sometimes a cob size is too big and sometimes a smaller size is too While this fits his head perfectly, it will be able to stretch as he regains weight without being too tightly fitting. Though I have only one complaint, I wish there was a lockhole for the lock! It would be perfect if you had a long or medium forelock! I would braid it if you get this for a horse with a long forelock or medium length! In his eyes, his forelock kept ending up. As a result of the fly mask pushing it to the front, it ends up in his eyes (not because it is too long).
This is the best type of fly mask I have ever used. Flys do not want to land on you, but this garment is light, yet fits comfortably snug under your ear and eyes. The mask is ideal for places like Arizona where we get very hot weather because people don't sweat as much, so the rubbing isn't as significant. I have bought three of these since last year. I paid more for the first two because they were from a big brand, but he was able to rip them on fences Each lasted about a month. Despite their ease of repair, they were relatively short-lived. In just a month, this flymask has suffered little damage and it cost much less than similar names. I was never able to tolerate using a conventional mask again.
Despite wearing this constantly for 4 weeks without taking it off, she had never attempted to remove it, nor had any of her fellow horses tried to do so. This screen was touching her top eyelid and eyelashes, which created an uncomfortable feeling for me. After I called her in from the pasture, I noticed she took a while to come in, and then noticed in horror that the bottom edge of the mask somehow managed to go in her mouth! When I took the fly mask off, I immediately removed the plug from her mouth. As if she were the Joker, she suffered injuries like a smile. It is estimated that she has been injured by 3 to 4 inches on each side. She is currently receiving treatment. The use of this fly mask is not recommended for horses unless they are If your horse is being shown at a horse show with tons of eyes on it, this may be okay, but do not leave it unattended. Those masks were found on three of our horses, and now they are being thrown out. There is only one way to go "Rambo".
I have been raising horses for more than I found these to be a great value for both price and quality. I have a saddelbred and a highland pony that fit in large. A medium would be appropriate for the typical quarter horse or arabian with a small head. Quite a bit of stretch is involved. They have large eye parts that are so perfect and their ear parts keep out all but the tiniest of insects without being too tight to their necks. They're awesome, I love them!.
I have a fly mask similar to this in a name brand (professional's choice) and this one appears to be Obviously a fly mask does not last very long so we'll have to wait and see if these masks hold up as long as the masks with Velcro straps to keep them on (which are much less reliable, and often I seem to be able to put them on my horses easily, and they seem comfortable wearing In summer, deer flies can be so thick in the area where I live that horses cannot endure their pain without ear protection. Thus, they are much easier to wear under a bridle than the old style fly masks.
