Lock your horse in a stall by hanging him around his neck. Place the eyes toward the back of his sleeve while slipping the head into it. Turn it around so the eyes are in front, and pull it upwards to his ears after his nose has been pulled through
There is Velcro!
In addition to the cob sized fly mask, I purchased a 16" fly mask for one of my OTTBs. One has a head length of 1h while the other has a head length of 17h. It is a great fit, as they usually wear bridles that fit cobs There are plenty of earphones here, but they are closer to my eyes than I would like.
This is huge! I could not fit my small headed horse into a standard horse size. There is a very small size range for these masks.

As I read so many reviews saying that it was too small, I had to decide on the size. There are some things that I like about my job The headed QH is I would like to see QH heads like this. It's not too fancy a modern show horse head. Fortunately, I decided to take a chance on the cob size and it fit just fine! The flies had to be kept out, so I wanted it to be tight It's no good if even a single fly is able to get inside your fly mask You need to be comfortable, but not squished. The answer is yes! Stretchy enough to fit over his huge jaw, yet tight enough to stay in place at the throatlatch and muzzle in order to perform its purpose. While the mesh does rest a little closer to the eyes than would be ideal, even if he had scratched his eye (the reason for the mask), he wouldn't mind having the mesh between his eyeballs. I love the ears too - they're the right size My ear-masks are big and floppy - I hate them Even the style is great on this one! This garment has been washed once, and it came out of the washing machine looking as It's a fantastic product! Thanks for providing it!.
There have been a number of stretchy fly masks that I have tried (Prof Choice, Smartpak, etc. ) each with things that I liked and things that I didn't like. The status so far is I just put it on yesterday, so if I experience any problems, I will update this post. The good news is that there is no news! I really enjoy the snug fit of the garment. The first time I put it on she was concerned about where it would go, but once it is in place, it's a comfortable fit. Putting on the Prof Choice was easy, but taking it off was equally as wonderful. Since going missing in her paddock, she's been searching for the horse ever since. HH may not do this disappearing act now that HH's snugness is in the right places. However, his eyes do sit closer than I'd like. It is closer to her eyeball than the professor's choice, however the SmartPak does not lay directly on the ball of her eye. She could feel her eye being rubbed harshly by the SmartPak. It stays away from the rest of the pack by itself.
So, overall, I think this is my favorite stetchy mask. Normally there is a forelock hole. I may snip one in later for that purpose. Even if I buy more of these after a couple of weeks, it will still be worth the price.
If you have a small horse, go up a size. My small horse with an even smaller head fits into everything but this was way too tight on her face. Apart from that it looks good for If you're in doubt, order one size larger.
In fact, my mare liked the mask so much she didn't even try to remove it. The head of my gelding is too large and the head of the mare Despite the tight fit, it does not feel uncomfortable. This one is smaller than the one I bought for my Mustang. After two days, she got it off and since it's a light weight, the wind carried it away and I haven't seen it since. I have such mixed feelings about this.
There was a 3-day delay in this process. A few minutes later, both ear covers had been torn and all the netting around the face had been There is a thin netting and it is I am totally wasting my It was a disappointment for me.
I have a lodge pony that is in-between a horse and a cob size, so the medium fits perfect! It has only been a week, so far it seems like it will be a great fit! The mesh around his eyes and ears is not an issue for him. It is ideal for the Florida heat to wear a light color like this. A beautiful picture. So far, we are happy with our purchase at Splash.
I cannot get enough of it. The mask is what I will be buying from now on for my son. His head will fit perfectly and it will be easy to put on. of the mask, as well as the mask itself, is very soft. really appreciate that the mesh around the eye is plenty big enough to sit away from the eye but not right over it. The mask I have just purchased for my horse is probably much more comfortable than any mask I have purchased for him in the past. Masks on the market cost a much lower price than the one on this site. It is great to see a wide range of patterns and colors. I will definitely order The mask will make you look and feel great.
This listing does not properly depict the colors. They are brighter and more stunning than the listing depicts. The colors really stand out when paired with my golden skin! My 15h 2 year old Quarter ordered the Large (full size horse), and it fits great on her! She has a very average head size and it fits very well!.
