br>I honestly don't know how effective it is against flukes, Amber. Every two or three months, I apply this Waterlife-Protozin as a preventative, and it appears to help control algae a little. For the past four years, I've been using it. I have a 240-liter tank with eight large discus, three large angelfish, approximately 20 cardinal tetras, four catfish, and numerous plants. The only other medication I take is a parasite treatment called Sites l, which I purchase in Bangkok (it is manufactured in Thailand). It appears to be 5 oz. from the small container. 9% concentration of Dimethyl (2.5%0 concentration of Dimethyl (2.5%0 concentration of Trichlro - Trichlro Trichlro Trichlro T Hydroxyethyl Phosphonate (Hydroxyethyl Phosphonate). This anti-virus software is what I use. In between Protozin treatments (one per week for four weeks), a parasite treatment is given as a preventative. Every week, I replace approximately 40% of the water. br>I apologize for not being able to provide more information about flukes. br>Best wishes, Joshbr>[email protected] com
Yes, it's perfectly safe for plants. In fact, as a side benefit, the treatment appears to aid in algae control. Treatment should be followed on days 1, 2, 3, and 6. The liquid itself can leave stains on things like towels and granite countertops, so be careful with it. Before slowly pouring it into the aquarium, I dilute it with about a liter of water.

Everyone was under attack by ich, but this product worked wonders for me. My neon lights are brighter, and they used to be pale, but now they're fine.
The fish have returned to normal.
