Questions & Answers

Is ammonia removed by this process? My safe start has been installed. What should I do?

This is not directly related. The Nitrifying bacteria introduced by Safe Start help to reduce nitrates in your tank. If UV sterilization is on, turn it off before Ammonia is converted to nitrite by bacteria, and nitrite can be converted to nitrate by other bacteria. There is some degree of toxicity for fish in all of them. This is the most deadly of the three compounds and becomes deadly at about 8 parts per million (gill membranes are burned). The concentration of nitrite is about 40-45 It contains about 80 ppm of chloride and about 160 ppm of nitrate. Nitrate is removed from the water during water changes. It removes heavy metals from your tap water, detoxifies all three, and dechlorinates as well as treating it with Seachem Prime. It does not appear to be removed either by SeaChem Prime. Through the binding of toxic molecules, it helps to make the water "safe" for fish and provide bacteria colonies with a longer period of time to degrade You should avoid overcrowding your tanks as it is the main cause

What is the seal supposed to look like on the product?

I didn't get a seal with mine. I am used to buying in stores where I have to pay, but I did not in this case, so it made me feel uneasy and I decided not to use it.

What's the difference between aquasafe plus conditioner and Aquasafe that's added to a new tank with Add fijji pink sand? In that case, how does it work?

There's no way to clear the clouds. Allow about a week for the sand dust to settle at the bottom of the tank.

There is no comparison to the pet store with this purchase. I am suspicious of it. There appeared to be a few complaints about the product dying in reviews. Is this one genuine?

Taking your concern into account is much appreciated, There is indeed a real product here, and it is supplied by Tetra to Amazon. In most cases, fish die due to improperly performing water changes, such as failing to top off the tank with water at the right temperature or performing too large of a water change, which may Should you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

I have attached a photo of the bottle I got from amazon(right) next to the bottle I purchased a few days ago for There is a lot of it. This has been in my tank for a long time for my cichlids and bettas. It is the largest bottle I have ever seen - I paid twice as much for this one as I would have for the smaller ones in stores. In the end, I bought two and I expect them to last me well into the next What the people who claim the fish were killed are doing with it is obscure to me. Heavy metals can be removed from water by this dechlorinator We can't make our tank cycle in a day or make our nasty water crystal clear, but we can make it a lot cleaner. It's pretty easy to understand how much to use based on the directions. Compared to other water filters I've used, this one is the easiest to use. It has been my sole method of boiling water for over 10 years now and I have never had a problem with it harming my fish or making my water cloudy beyond my normal sand stirring.

MY FISH WAS KILLED
3/5

I urge you not to buy! Aimed at my fish and killed it. At first, I was delighted to find a large bottle for so little money, but then I started wondering HOW this was possible. Taking a look at the bag, we saw the bottle was loose. No matter how I felt, I tried it anyway, ignoring my gut because I did not think someone would go to such lengths. As I continue on, I find out my fish has There seemed to be a problem with all the deaths occurring at the same time. The temperature of my water was regulated based on the water being sampled. It's all there. As described in the question section, I did not perform a major water change. In order to replace my old fish, I bought new ones. Once again, they were killed. It was only after the use of this product that all of the fish died. All of my other fish in my other tanks were fine (I didn't use the treatment on them) though no matter what I did, the fish that came into contact with this product were dead. There are probably going to be other things installed instead of the real thing. It wouldn't be the first time I wrote a product review for you if I wasn't completely sure. You shouldn't risk losing your fish again, even if they survived. Maybe your fish were older and stronger than you thought. To test my theory, I bought fish for a third time while they were still babies. The fish are happy and healthy in their new bottles! A new bottle was bought at the pet store. You can definitely expect me to reach out to you. It's not the product that's important, it's the consumer. What is this bottle made of? Do you really want to tell me what the name of your business is?.

It is a great water conditioner
5/5

Over a year ago, I began using Tetra Aqua Safe to do regular water changes for my tank and it has proven to be successful with healthy fish. There is no need to worry about sick fish or fish dying. Those fish, as well as convict cichlids, live in this tank. Water conditioner may be measured with the cap to ensure the correct amount is being used. I have, however, found that a small amount of overdose will not affect your tank water conditioner at all if you make a mistake.

There is no seal on the bottle
3/5

Yesterday I received the product in the mail Bottle with 8 ounces). I discovered that the bottle had no seal on the inside when I took off the cap. My worry is that the seller might have tampered with the contents (perhaps by diluting them).

This was a used product, not a new one
3/5

This product was bought for my aquarium. However, when I received my product it had been opened and the protective top was missing. After using the next day, I woke up feeling fine. A bubble of soap appeared at the bottom of my filter as if all my fish were dead.

It's great to have Tetra AquaSafe water conditioner
5/5

used this 33oz AquaSafe Plus Water Conditioner for two reasons periodically changing my water for healthy and vibrant Tropical Fish and to keep edging my salt water aquarium. A flourishing economy. As I read feedback on Amazon regarding this product, I decided to purchase it. Since I started using the product several years ago, I have been able to cut down on my fish losses and I get to see my baby fish grow into adult fish, which brings me a lot of joy. Additionally, I have one gold fish, which I keep in a one gallon aquarium that gets full water changed weekly, and I add about 8 drops of AquaSafe every week. It couldn't be healthier and he appears happier than ever before. There is nothing wrong with this product, & I like it a lot You should absolutely check it out.

A seal? Where is it? My regular purchase is out of the store, but the pandemic prompted me to order online
3/5

Having learned enough from my past experience, I know that there should be a seal (mine does not). Although the bottle looks like a bottle filled with water, it's quite large. Having a small amount left from my other bottle, I decided to smell it to see what the difference was. Mine has a distinct smell to it but I did not detect it whatsoever in There's a lot of water in there. There's just no way I can figure it out. If I add water to the water already in my tank, what will the result be?.

I appreciate how helpful it is
5/5

The old formula produced 1 gallon of water to 1 ml of fluid (with a 10mm lid), but the new one produces 2 gallons/ml and The first one is what I use. For every 30 gallons of water, you need approximately five lids. There has not been any complaint by fish.
