In simple terms, Tetra diluted their products in half with water to save money and divert the money away from their customers. As you can see, all the promotional images on Amazon write 'treats 100 gal' when what is actually received by customers is 'treats 50 gal'! My experience with this product is based solely on my own use. I used it as directed for a partial water change in a tank with a healthy male Betta. It was the next day that he died. He had very little time left, so I am not sure if the water conditioner killed him or not. However, I do know My last use of this will be in the future.
In a matter of 30 minutes after changing the water, my fish had died. Apparently, this stuff killed my fish, and my kids were sad. I don't know what was in it, but it caused them grief. I urge you not to buy this product.
