Questions & Answers

Is it safe for me to add this between water changes in a 5 gallon tank? The water I use has been filtered, and I plan on changing it every ten days In 14 days. ?

By preparing the water in advance, we were able to obtain the best results. If you fill a container with water, whether tap water or filtered, and let it sit for 12 hours, you are doing what you need to do It is then necessary to let the water sit for 24 hours (fallowing the chlorine to dissipate and bringing the temperature of the water to room temperature) and then add In our local area, we change the water about once a month, and add water as necessary throughout the month. From 10 to It may not be necessary to repeat the cycle every 14 days. Thank you! I hope that helped!

Where do the 14 drops per gallon come from? What is the purpose of the new bottle? Do the ingredients or the directions change or just the formula?

In simple terms, Tetra diluted their products in half with water to save money and divert the money away from their customers. As you can see, all the promotional images on Amazon write 'treats 100 gal' when what is actually received by customers is 'treats 50 gal'! Since I am a chemist, it only takes a simple evaluation to recognize that Tetra just profited 2X more than it did previously. The new 14 drops/gal treatment method is more time-consuming than the existing one when treating larger volumes, clearly a negative. It would be best if Tetra/Amazon updated their illustrations to reflect the actual amount of treated water.

Guppies and betta fish get along just fine. ?

The speed at which the guppies swim determines when the fish are ready to spawn. Keeping the fancy male in an aggressive and huge community tank would end up being fish food in no time. I kept the mellow betta in an aggressive tank and it worked just fine. However, there were also sharks in the other fish.

If a 1 is multiplied by 2, how much is it? How many gallons does it hold?

You can use 15 drops or 1/8th of a teaspoon if it is all new water.

Does not work for me, nor for my Betta
3/5

My experience with this product is based solely on my own use. I used it as directed for a partial water change in a tank with a healthy male Betta. It was the next day that he died. He had very little time left, so I am not sure if the water conditioner killed him or not. However, I do know My last use of this will be in the future.

I would not recommend buying
3/5

In a matter of 30 minutes after changing the water, my fish had died. Apparently, this stuff killed my fish, and my kids were sad. I don't know what was in it, but it caused them grief. I urge you not to buy this product.

Ensure the water is pure before you put your fish in it
5/5

I love how well it works with me. This is beta It is very beautiful to see him. The next time I had a Betta, I had another one. It was from Amazon that I ordered him. I had to laugh when everyone thought I had sent a mail order fish. His birth was a dream come true, for when he came he was big, beautiful, bright blue, and I named him George Gershwin after the song. His death took place two years after his illness. In the event that I had used water purification, he would still be alive. I have a brand new fish that is bright red. He was given to me by my sister. Scarlatti is the name of a composer everyone loves, so everybody knows his name. It is a matter of training him to respond to my commands. Petting him will be fun. We tell him to "Flip your flippers" when we tell him to do so. The answer is yes. You shouldn't let your fish suffer by not purifying the water. I sincerely wish you a Happy New Year from me and.

The poison has been spread by Betta
3/5

It is a great product and at an affordable price, so I bought it. Changing the water for my fish was a straightforward process that I followed the instructions on the bottle. After treating the water, it was tasteless. Next morning, I woke up to find that my fish had died. I am so sad to hear about this. It is not something I would.

Exactly what I needed! The stuff that this product contains is awesome if you have Betta fish in your This dechlorinator dechlorinates your water instantly, and what's even better, the water doesn't turn an unsightly color
5/5

It doesn't work or I get a yellowish tint to my fish tank water in the past I've used other products that bothered me in the past My aquarium put out a yellow color that I was unable to get rid of unless I changed my water completely. There is no such ability in this product! This system seems to work as it should. My Betta (named Dutch) is happy and healthy and the water is clear, as it should be. In my case, my 5 gallon tank only requires about 5 gallons of water per week You can use six drops of this product to dechlorinate water too, so for the price, you'll have this for years to come!.

The condition of the system
4/5

Purified water is the only way I wash my betta's tanks (I highly recommend it as it removes any harmful chemicals, iron, mercury, feces, etc. that you come across in tap water), and my bettas have been very healthy because of that. Providing you keep up with the cleanings and water transfers, you should have no problems keeping your betta In addition, I always pour a bit of BettaSafe water conditioner or some other water conditioner as well as a PH balancing tablet into the bath to keep the water balanced. My Betta seems to calm down when this conditioner is added because of all of the other things I do with the water. I can't tell if this conditioner is doing a good job or not because of ALL of the other things I do with the water. My BettaSafe water conditioner may be a bit expensive, but it doesn't hurt him in the long-run. What kind of improvement have I seen? The answer is no, but such a thing is difficult to measure. It's time for you to pick up a conditioner if you don't have one. Unless you provide some sort of water conditioner or PH balance, your Betta will not survive for very long in regular tap water. Take care of your Betta just like you would a pet, they are not ornaments that you place wherever you like, instead they are friend that you will care for as you would a pet cat or.

It is good to have an aquarium water conditioner As a water conditioner, the Tetra Bettasafe Water Conditioner is effective in neutralizing harmful elements in the aquarium including chlorine, chloramines, ammonia, heavy metals, etc
5/5

She got her first betta about two months ago and we put these drops in the water and let the tank settle for about a week before she introduced it to In checking the water for safety, I discovered that it was safe for the new fish to stay in it, and since introducing it to her fish she has been doing just fine. The drops within the drops dissolve immediately into water, and the fish seem healthy and happy. As a result, we have done weekly partial water changes with water that has been treated with Bettasafe drops, and the fish have been doing just fine. Overall, this is a great water conditioner, and we will purchase it.
