A three gallon container and half a cap do the job for me There are 8 in all. This fl oz lid fits 45 fl oz bottles. At the fish store, someone once told me that it was alright to use a little bit Fill the lid with just enough fluid to fill the bottom part of the gallon jug. I just squirted a little. You can't be too exact with it. Since I've owned two fish over six years, both have never complained to me. I hope this is helpful.

It was more convenient to order this at the same time as the water conditioner because I needed it at the same time to avoid getting it at the pet store. The brand I always use is this one. I've had it for over 5 years now. Water changes on a weekly basis have never caused any problems for me. I never will. My plus usually comes from attending to the details, but I wasn't paying attention this time. When I get it it will be useful. A big thank you to.
We know our product works because we test the water, but based on our previous smaller bottles, we expected there to be a small hole for properly dispensing the medication. There is nothing! We had just changed our water when I realized I had poured a fourth of the bottle into the bucket. Never again. Went to the wrong place and bought the wrong product.
You need it to use public water if you have a water pipe inside your house. Water with chlorine in it is purified and, yes, there is chlorine in ALL public water sources. As long as you treat your well with chlorine, you don't need it if you have a well.
It has well water, so I use that whenever I add fluid to his tank or when I clean it. To date, I have been experiencing no negative side effects from beta. The amount I use for his 1 cup is about 2 teaspoons. The tank holds 5 gallons.
This is a staple for every pet shop and everything one has come to expect from Tetra.
Especially useful for mixing tap water with fresh water before water is pumped into a tank.
Hard water is no problem with this product.
