Questions & Answers

Would it be possible to use this as a preventative measure?

During the first few days of a purchase, you may consider using the treatment as a prophylactic, but no antibiotic should be used as a preventative. It should only be used when there are indications that a purchase might be infected.

Should I change the water right after the first dose if I am going to do the second one after 48 hours?

The second dose was followed by an additional 50% water change

The amount I should use in a quantity of two is . How much storage space does a 5 gallon tank offer?

Dump one level scoop of food on a piece of paper to measure. You divide it in half, and you take the half you divide by two when you add it to the dosage. The tank holds 5 gallons.

Copper in my quarentine tank is giving me a noticeable effect. Will this matter if I add it to copper in the water?

The quarantine tank cannot be used for invertebrates if it contains any copper. Other than that, I'm not sure what your question means.

Betta Fin Rot is controlled with this product
5/5

In order to prevent betta fin rot, there is usually no need to do more than a partial water change every day. Even if it isn't, a little aquarium salt (using the proper dosage) as part of your daily partial water changes will usually solve the issue. Don't resort to medication if you notice fin rot right away. There are some medications that work, but they are not usually necessary, and they will put stress on the fish during treatment. The only exception is when there are stubborn cases of fin rot and Kanaplex can be very helpful. Seachem products are expected to meet or exceed expectations, and this one does. Despite its fineness, this powder can be safely consumed (although I have added it directly to water) and is the easiest to use I've used so far. It comes with a tool that can be used to scoop the products and administer them. As long as you follow the directions, you will see results within a few days. In addition, it's important for you to keep in mind that this product stops fin rot but may not necessarily promote health. The fin rot should now be gone, and you can start the daily partial water changes. If it hasn't stopped, I recommend one more treatment just to make sure (unless you've exceeded the maximum number of treatments). After Kanaplex's healing effects have been achieved, use clean water to promote healing. In combination with Seachem Stressguard, which promotes healing and de-stresses your fish, I used Kanaplex to make sure they don't get too stressed out. It is a site that I would recommend checking Any product from Seachem is a premium product, and if you follow the directions, it is sure to work.

I was treated for dropsy
5/5

There are a few goldfish in my aquarium, and one of them As a result, he was getting sluggish and did not move The bloatedness took place over a few weeks, so I didn't notice at first! My feelings were really bad when it happened. As a result). I noticed he was getting better and looking less bloated after about a week. In my research on the internet, I read that dropsy is almost always incurable, but my goldfish recovered after an entire dosing period plus a break and another couple of dosages. Miracles happen all the time. I do not wish to suggest that this is a miracle cure for all fish dropsy cases, but the fish I had was lucky and it worked. It seems that two months later, he has swim bladder issues and has now developed dropsy again, so we'll see how he does this time around. I have a feeling that it may be more severe this time, so please pray for him.

Saving my Betta was a great experience
5/5

A water change immediately caused Popeye to show up in my Betta's tank! The aquarium he had been living in was downsized to a 1 gallon tank previously he was in a After using Furan 2 for nearly a week without any noticeable results, I started to notice a remarkable difference once I started using this Within a few days his eyes started looking better, and within about a week or two they were back to normal. When I saw my beta in that condition, I honestly did not have a lot of faith he would be cured until this stuff happened! The device has saved my life several times and I hope to never need it again.

From the verge of extinction, fish are saved! Two of my fish have received a life-saving treatment because of this
5/5

As a fish doctor, it was tough for me to find fish medicines locally, so I had to wait for an antibiotic when I had a problem like this. There is nothing I would rather have done differently. The solution brought back both of my fish (who had completely different and unique problems) from the brink of death to However, the thing to note is that this does not cure ALL fish diseases. In order to know if the law applies to your situation, you have to know what you are dealing with. It wouldn't be much of a lifesaver if it didn't do this, but if it did, it would be a great thing. The statement that it will cure dropsy is not true, per se. How can Seachem possibly be so stupid?.

You can treat an aquarium with this medication and you can treat a large aquarium in one treatment
5/5

Whenever I have a quarantine tank filled with diseases, I offer Kanaplex as a first line of defense. In addition, it is effective against a wide range of bacterial issues, without causing damage to the biofilter. Due to its ability to be absorbed through the skin and gills, it can be used to treat an entire aquarium in the water column. *Browse the columnaris As far as I know, Kanaplex (when combined with Furan 2) is the only product that has successfully treated my main tank's columnaris infection. It is important to monitor ammonia and nitrate levels for a spike as the combination of the two toxin can damage the biological filter. When I had my tank, there was a small frog Cycled back quickly and made a full recovery.

The product is wonderful! Thank God for it! A few months after we met, my boyfriend decided to set up a 30 gallon fish tank with four blue spotted sunfish
5/5

Adding some minnows to it seemed like a good idea. Within a few days of buying the tank, one of the fish developed finrot. After it died within 24 hours, the fish in the tank slowly but surely broke down with what I believed to be In the end, I treated my ich with everything that was available to me. It took no time for my original Sunfish to cower at the back of the tank, but the minnows did better. It took 48 hours for one to become so ill. His body was basically attacked by the snf in no time as it ate through his fins. As its too late, after treating it with salt, pimafix, melafix, and API's finrot medication, I realized all of this did not work and had to return it to the store. My other fish were also starting to decline, one of them had clamped fins and fungus on the bases of its fin tips. There is no way to describe how it feels to watch fish you become emotionally attached to In response to the arrival of my Amazon order, I dosed the tank appropriately and lost hope. My fish were friendly and eating better the next day by the following day, clamped fins were gone by the third day, the fungus is dissipating and their fins are growing back, and I am so grateful for this product and for It is always a good idea to make sure your fish are healthy before you add them to a In case you encounter any severe fungi or any severe disease, make sure you grab Pimafix and melafix work just fine, but I am not saying they do not. There was just something about it I didn't like. As far as I'm concerned, Kanaplex is a winner.
