Questions & Answers

It is more expensive to order 2 of the 40 count than to order eight of the 80 ?

Like that, there are a lot of products. Seachem products have the same effect on me. The cost of buying two smaller bottles won't always be higher than the cost of buying one larger one.

What is the best way to use this on water plants in koi ponds?

However, I can tell you that they don't harm the carp in my aquarium, even though I have not tried them in my pond. Additionally, I do not believe they will harm pond plants. According to my experience in my tank, Flourish Tabs are helping my plants that need a lot of iron thrive. My opinion is that it is worth an experiment.

Is it recommended I use liquid Flourish with this? Do one or both replace one another?

A lot depends on the type of plants you've got. Some are root-fed (need tabs), while others are not. It is possible for some species to absorb water through flourish (need to When planting a tank heavily, don't forget to add carbon to the soil (preferably Frood Excell). Good luck! I just started using all three and it doubled in size -- you will, too!

Do you think one 40 ct package would be enough to plant a 55 gallon moderately planted aquarium?

These did not fit our 40 gallon tank, so we did not use them.

The likes of it have never been seen before! As a beginner in the world of planted tanks, this product was a good purchase for me
5/5

As I mentioned earlier, there was melting at the base of a Red Lugwigia plant that I had purchased, and I had no idea how to stop it! Having spent loads of time researching the different substrates, fertilizer tabs, liquid fertilizer, etc, I came to the conclusion that this was the best product, and eagerly As of 2/1, I am using the tabs twice a day in two 10-minute intervals They come in a gallon size. I will be able to within Several of my plants showed significant root growth, as well as leaf growth in just a few days. Additionally, it prevented the Ludwigia from melting. It has grown to the point where I have divided the Ludwigia into two bundles today (3 weeks in). As the pennywort tripled in size and grew richer in green, so did the anubais, and the banana plants had nice, In addition to the waltz (which were planted more than a month ago), they are also thriving. It only has a few leaves, one of which is my Cobomba plant, which has been struggling for a while we'll see if this works. My water did not become cloudy once I buried it under the substrate (just make sure you fully bury it). Among my other fish, my platys, loaches, panda corys, mystery snails, nerite snails, and Amano shrimp are doing great after 3 weeks. - I have HIGHLY recommended this product to anyone and everyone - The show is for everyone, whether you are a knowledgeable aficionado or brand new to the medium A healthy plant thrives on it. It accelerates plant growth and maintains There is no other way to describe these amazing tablets.

Purchase these items at your own risk
3/5

There were only 35 full tabs in this item, Including all the dust that has been pulverized and the very broken up tabs still does not make up for Tabs that have the full length embedded in them need to be inserted into the aquarium substrate, so it is not possible for crushed up bits and dust Despite what the item description says, the item is not what it appears to be. There is no way to enlarge the bag so you can see how many ounces it contains, even though it lists 40 tabs. The same tabs are in a 40 tab bag and were in a 120 ounce bag at an aquarium store before, but the bag in this deal is only 80 ounces, which makes There is a sticker on the bag that says "New and Improved", but even if the formula has changed to offer a more improved product, it doesn't matter when they arrive crushed and missing the amount stated on the bag. The fact that five complete pieces are missing when you are supposed to receive 40 and the price is $24 is a problem. Purchasing these would not have been a good choice if I had known this information ahead of time. Do not order.

A much better use of resources than liquid dosages
5/5

One of my primary concerns about switching from liquid fertilizers is how easy it would be to You can pour the liquids into the cap and mix them into the water so easily. My mistake was that I did not realize how rarely you had to switch Each time you apply it, just apply one across four days You can keep them for months if you cut them to 6 inches. They will release themselves if you hold them and push them into the surface with tongs or your hand. Although I will have to add some supplemental liquid CO2, potassium, and other nutrients, this does not have all that the body needs. In addition, there is no mess, because they are made out of one solid black piece, and since they did not come in a resealable bag, I assume they are not This might come with an upfront cost that is higher than that of liquid fertilizer, but it should save time and money in the long run.

My experience has taught me that you have to monitor the nitrate level carefully or else the fish will die
3/5

It has been more than a month since I ordered this product and my fish died. In a ten gallon planted aquarium, I had a betta and two nerite snails, so the bio-load was not too large It seemed that the plants were wilting a bit, even after dosing them with Flourish Excel. So now, I thought I would boost them a bit with this product. My guess is that I put in around six I started to see that my plants were not melting, so I thought I was doing It was getting easier for me to be complacent with my tank, since I had been doing weekly water changes for it and I was doing well, so I wasn't really checking my levels, just changing them. In any case, my fish were acting lethargic last week, and I was wondering if the heater had malfunctioned? After four days, I decided to check the levels, and I were shocked to see nitrate levels It took two days for him to die. If you are using this product, please learn from my missteps and be sure to monitor your nitrates constantly.

It's really easy to take care of plants with this method! Using liquid supplements can be difficult
5/5

Using this product will keep your plants healthy. It is highly recommended to apply continuously around larger plants in denser groundcover. You'll want to dig it deep enough so that it reaches the roots and doesn't wash out with the water. It takes me about 10 minutes to use my laptop For a 90 gallon structured set up, 15 plants need to be added every three to four months. Several inches of mineralized soil are on top of a layer of gravel.

I'm not a fan of this It has never been necessary for me to use root tabs with However there has been some discussion about using them since I don't use a whole lot of plant-assisting products in my tank, and I just let them grow naturally
3/5

After doing a lot of research on how they work and following the instructions, I used these to give myself a glow. Having all of my plants killed by them was a disaster. Overnight is basically the case. Where does this reason come from? The heat was way too intense, and the marshmallows The experience was devastating for me. The plants cost $300 and died within a month. My situation is not secure financially, so I feel this was a loss on the whole. According to their own accounts, these should be just fine in my kind of tank. I did further research into them. They are, however, wrong as far as their products are concerned. If you have a smaller tank that's already well established, you can put half a tab or one tab in it. Are you really going to need them at that point? My overall opinion of the product is not worth the expense. Providing something else just to get us to buy in the hobbyist market will suffice. My findings show that they don't really make much difference when they succeed anyway nothing typical people do doesn't do, or some of the carbon they emit.
