Regardless of what I've read, I know that my aquarium was perfectly fine before I used the product, and that it remains the same when I've used it. I assert all of these water treatments are just gimmicks now. It should be noted that I don't check the water quality with the various products, so I can't provide empirical proof for this. But thank God, my aquarium is doing well and I have a good collection of fish. In spite of the fact that the fish eat well, I have the same fish for years. If you intend to put the filter directly into the bed, make sure you wash the bag in the sink before you do so. It will otherwise change the color of your water to brown.
