It would be best to check every three It seems like chem pure elite works better. The forum says to use it. As well as purigen 100, they use adipose tissue. There is a 34 gallon in my home. You can learn a lot about tanks at Reef Sanctuary. In addition to my fish tank, I also have a reef setup.

Next to one of my two cartridges, I place the whole bag in my Aqueon filter. A couple of times a year, I change it out. I love how it works!
There is no data to suggest that this lowers phosphate levels. Regardless of what I've read, I know that my aquarium was perfectly fine before I used the product, and that it remains the same when I've used it. I assert all of these water treatments are just gimmicks now. It should be noted that I don't check the water quality with the various products, so I can't provide empirical proof for this. But thank God, my aquarium is doing well and I have a good collection of fish. In spite of the fact that the fish eat well, I have the same fish for years. Having a Baryancistrus with me for 25 years is nothing short of a miracle.

If you intend to put the filter directly into the bed, make sure you wash the bag in the sink before you do so. It will otherwise change the color of your water to brown. I have had this product inside my filtration system for 2 months now and it is working well. It's really easy, just put it in the washer first.
It's been a couple of years since I've used this product in my planted 80 gallon tank, and I enjoy it very much! My use of it is to control algae outbreaks in a heavily lit and planted tank that contains excess nutrients. There seems to be only one bag per cycle, which lasts between three and six will know when it's time to replace my substrate when I begin to see small bubbles rising from it and a few small algae spots on it. As a filtration or carbon source, I don't use it as often as I would like I use it primarily for removing excess nutrients from the water in my tank. The majority of my filtration is provided by two other filters that contain zeosorb, plain carbon, and phosguard on occasion. After I have correctly installed this into my filter, it typically takes two to three hours to cool off In general, it takes between 14 days and 21 days to clean up a tank depending on how much algae has accumulated since bags were changed. It can be used with a tank that has a lot of overgrowth and is coated with algae We plan to release the new version in about two weeks. Once the algae dies, they will begin to change colors and flake off. Once the algae have died, they will begin to change colors, die, and peel off from the glass (the glass may have If there has been an extreme algae outbreak, I just change the water because the dead algae has decayed This is an example of what happens when you vacuum the substrate barely enough to remove Having removed what appears to be rust and dirt from the bag after carefully rinsing it (yes, the bag will be at least damp when you open the jar), I place them in the media basket of my Magnum 440 power filter. In my tank, I hardly ever change the water because my system is usually healthy with lots of plants and more than sufficient filtration (over 1200 gallons per hour and four My tank does not use the recommended number of bags (they recommend 3, but I only use one for 3 gallons The result will be six months from now).
Having put it in my sump the next day, I noticed that my candy cane coral that had been wasting away for a couple of weeks began to grow again When I did a 50% water change, he suddenly started puffing up and looked alive. I keep a mixed reef aquarium of 40 gallons. There hasn't been much progress in the last couple of days, but so far everything appears to be going well. The people who complained that items were used and wet didn't read the instructions carefully, and it wasn't their fault. As well, I initially thought there was something used over the item because it was so moist, but after reading the container, I found that its made of WET material. There is no reason to use it. While I agree that it must be thoroughly washed before using, as there is a lot of debris in it.
In my humble opinion, if you bought this, you probably had a Marine tank. I'm not going to deny Chemi-Tank. This stuff isn't the best in terms of durability or reliability, but I've purchased it sporadically over the years and it seems like every time I get one, the zip tie is compromised. Every 6 months things in my sump start to leak, and we are left with a 2 hour chore of keeping There may be a need 1) to secure it to my backpack with a zip tie and 2) to put it in a fine mesh bag or a reactor like After this go around, I am the one who is done using. It's gonna be carbon the old fashioned way. The only reason I were using it was to lower my phosphates during cycling, and it did that, so I gave this product four I just wish quality control would be improved a little more.
Why would they have a moisture inside? When I took two of them out, they were wet/moist. I rinsed them off well, but barely anything came off of them. I think they have already been rinsed or However, I have placed one in each filter compartment of my aquarium as per instructions and nitrates continue to remain the same after over one week. Condensation was present on all three of these I received. In the end, I went to a local fish store and found the same products there. They did not have My nitrates dropped from 10ppm to 4ppm in 24 hours after I began using them instead of the ones from this seller. still have one left from this seller (the one in the picture) but haven't even begun to open it. As opposed to asking the seller for a refund, I think I'll simply throw it away and not trust it. It is just so strange and I am becoming more and more disappointed with purchases made through Amazon lately.
The Chemi-Standard version will be used after the machine has been converted to Pure, I had to get this one in and in the tank as soon as I could. Following my reading of the directions, I started rinsing, but it never got Runoff from the bag came out in a constant stream of brownish color. Approximately 15 minutes after that Having spent nearly 20 minutes trying, I gave up and re-placed the bag in its After I had rinsed it a second time, I thought for sure this was working. My surprise was that the results were the same. In the end, it was a waste of time for me.
The bottle of this I bought last month is one of two I bought. As soon as I placed one of the bags in the return section of my sump, I left it there. Earlier today, I went to clean out that chamber because it looked as if it had a lot of dust Well, it did, as it turns out. I noticed the bag was eroding in my fingertips when I attempted to lift it to see what the problem was. Everything is an ingredient in this dish. As it was, I had already turned off my return pump, or the contents would now be on the main display. This is an extremely disappointing development for me. Here's an update! As soon as I placed the second bag into the return pump section, the same thing happened. Was the UV light in my sump a contributing or causative factor to the breakdown of both bags? Were both bags from the same batch and were they defective? What do you know? The product is something I have used for over a year, and I have never experienced this problem.
