There's no problem with it, in my opinion. It is possible that super tiny white bubbles formed on the product may seem like a film if your pond has a waterfall or the water gets moved a lot from a pump. You might be having trouble with the temperature since you are outside. I'm just guessing.

My little guy had virtually lost all hope, I thought he was going to die. Thanks to this product, he's alive again. I looked on Amazon for a turtle fix and found this one. I knew I had to try it even though the reviews were mixed. Deliveries of the 8oz bottle were made the very next day. It had a 40 gallon tank, so I did a quick 7 gallon water change and disposed of the waste. After shutting the filter off, put in 20 mLs of water. 5ml per 10 gallon a day for 7 days is the dosage. I come back to see my little guy Squirtle aka Pops (he's a 3 year old Texas map turtle). He's getting more and more active each day, and his heads are above water.
