Yes, you'll be adding a heater to that as well
My recommendation for this is to stay away from This will cause the tank to look cloudy and everything to be covered in powder.
There is no limit on how much you can use. If you have an undergravel filter, you should not use this
It is possible for you to- If you rinse it, it should be fine. A saltwater aquarium uses dry sand, which is usually cheaper than "live" sand, as you are paying for the live bacteria in the aquarium

The 'salty one' has been with me since 1974. It turns out I was As the weather is likely to be cloudy for a week, I expected it. When this crud settled, it left a pall on the glass and PH's, so since it was a temporary tank, I purchased a canister filter to get rid of it. Using a razor blade works to remove the haze only a little. I will now have to empty the contents and start all over after all components have been soaked in vinegar or citric acid for a few days.
I wish I could rebag it and send it back to the company, and I may do so one day since it is almost as tough as My experience with this particular blend of the substrate is by far the worst I've ever encountered. My grades range from A to D. It is impossible for zero to exist. One star was all I could give it. There is no way I would endorse this batch to anybody. In regards to the large grade showing a variety of sizes of the substrate, there is only a small amount of pebbles and It doesn't matter. It was difficult to break through the hardened substrate*** and this is where the shards of sand appeared.
The quality of this product is outstanding. I have put my saltwater tank to good use. And I believe that adding the bio in the sand will get your saltwater fish tank off to a great start. Purchases of this kind will always be made by me. Take a look at some images of this product in order to decide if you need it.
Excellent, always make sure to check the expiration date before opening and you won't have to worry about anything It's that simple.
It took about 3 hours to clear the cloud in my aquarium, but after that it looked great , I am thrilled with this purchase , has plenty of beneficial bacteria in this live sand , but check the expiration dates. It is not a good idea to wash the sand in saltwater tanks or to drain the water. Please take a look at the following advisory.
I got back into the hobby recently, so I ordered this live sand.
There was some slight clouding for a few hours, but it soon cleared up. It was important to me to get free shipping and a good price. It did take 14 days for it to arrive.
Buying sand on Amazon or from pets is a bad idea. It was as if each bag had arrived dead, with a foul If anyone had not known that this was NOT LIVE sand, their system would have crashed. It was stored poorly in the warehouse - it could have caused data loss. Don't let the headache and money get the better of you.
It is a false advertisement. The image shows a bag that is 5 pounds but stated to weigh 8 pounds. Furthermore, the Sand shown in the image appears to have small shells and large pieces of substrate on the see-through part of the bag, but what you receive is a lot of overpriced silt that tends to fog You should stay away from this.
