What kind of sand is this? Is it fresh water sand, or ocean sand?

Can you tell me how fine the sand is?

This is a crap but my horseshoe crap really loves it. He is now about 4 inches across when I first got him he was just under 2 inches.

In a 30 gallon tank, I need 6 inches of sand at the bottom. Is there a minimum number of bags that I ?

If the tank is two feet deep and the shape is different, then two feet is suitable

Is it necessary to rinse this?

The rinse doesn't need to be done. From the bag, add it directly to the drink. In addition to washing away the beneficial bacteria, rinsing it would also remove the pathogens.

The people who complain about cloudiness are a bunch of You can't change anything about the weather, so have some patience, it will go away You will be fine as long as you clean your filter once the dust settles. I really like the aesthetic of the product in my planted aquarium.

In fact, it wasn't fine sand that caused the problem. I enjoyed it a lot. Actually, it looked like sand you might find in an ocean rather than the fine sand found there.
