I advise you to turn off your canister filter due to the fact that it will help filter out the water and settle the sand faster. The settlement took only a couple of days for mine. After that, the water was clear as crystal.

When it comes to grains, what is the size in millimeters?

Despite the fact that I cannot say for sure, I think it's a little larger than my sugar grain sand, though much finer than I'd be hesitant to put an axolotl in it, since fish seem to be alright in there.

Sand and live rock can affect the ph of a tank, as well as everything else you put into it. PH should be tested once a week or twice a month

I cannot find anything that fits Because I did not get any clarification packets here, I am not sure if they were supposed to be included The amount of cloudiness was pretty mild without it (I did not rinse it prior to adding it and left my fish in the tank) and was mostly gone within 24 hours I can't remember how many days it took it to get really clear afterwards, maybe 2 or 3

The picture I took before typing this one didn't turn out well because I forgot to take a clear picture of it. Although it wasn't jet black in color, the description said it could vary so I didn't worry too much about it, I just wanted something dark to blend in with the existing sand To prepare for plants (that aren't plastic) I will be adding very soon, I needed to add a little more sand to one side of the container for depth. This size bag worked perfectly for my needs. It is very easy to use for me. If I feel I need to add just a bit more in the future I would definitely.

In the past few years, I have never been disappointed by the product

Due to the ease of setup and the fact that I always use double filtration on any fish tank I set up, I quadrupled it to clear the water and in half an hour it was all The glass had to be cleaned again when adding sand due to dust in the sand that was in the tank. One thing I did not like is that in the past when I bought this product, it was always a dark black color because it was always this time of year. The brownish sand type of year which is on the product receipt when you buy it to begin with is what I ordered this period, so it is not the manufacturer's fault but just the timing was wrong. Thanks for your hard work. Keep it up.

Is it alive? Can we even tell? In my proposal I intend to build a brackish mangrove swamp in unknown territory. As far as I can tell, everything is going well. As it stands, I do not know whether the live sand is still live or not. It is clearly sand. I will submit a subsequent review as things proceed.

This used to be a beautiful smooth sand, but now it is a gray sand

I was searching for the deep black sand, but it was not of the same quality! Additionally, it appears that some of the grains are magnetic and are stuck to the glass cleaner.

A VERY FINE QUART IS RESULTING FROM THE CUT

Although the fish were added earlier, the price was still good and the efficiency was excellent, but I do not enjoy it as much as I expected. You will need 40 pounds if you require it. Make sure you weigh 120 pounds. There are very fine cuts in it.

It is nice quality sand and clears up well in the The pouch was not as black as I thought, but it worked. It fit a 20g tank with a diameter of about 1/2 inch and a height of about 3/8 inch.
