Sand of the color black

Questions & Answers

How do I find out the color of the sand? There are Thanks a lot! ?

There is no color to it. Changing the picture to show it is the best thing to do. However, the black looks very nice in a tank.

Can I use this sand for my construction project? Is it fine or coarse ?

I am fine.

Do you have sand or gravel here?

Sand is what it is.

Do these sands have a salty feel to them?

In fact, I did wonder that also, and decided to use it for freshwater since it did not contain the word "Marine.".

The price is too high! I don't know what it is! Purchase will not be worthwhile! These are small pebbles I wanted to replace sand
3/5

A black sand. The water where they came out was very dark and needed to be cleaned. Four days ago, I contacted the seller about the return policy, and I have not heard from them since. At Petco, you can also buy a 20 lb bag of BLACK sand for the same price. The stuff on this site is a rip-off. Return shipping would have been difficult, so I have no option but to live with it. As far as I can tell, it looks pretty good I wanted it, but not what I got.

I really like how it looks

Item S1295 is a decent size of sand. The grains are not as fine as coffee grounds, but the sizes are nice for construction. It says to simply put it in your tank, let it sit for a while, and then slowly pour in the water. As well, you shouldn't scrub it, but you should rinse it. It's important to wash off all the dust in the area. However, there is still dye that comes out even if it is In my bucket, I gently stirred it, but a few pieces of black had come off even as I was gentle. If you are rinsing inside, take care when pouring the water out as the lighter pieces will bind together when you pour the water out. If you are rinsing outside, however, it will be a lot easier to get them into If you want to avoid all this, it might be easier to soak it first for a few days. That way, it will be a little easier to clean. Depending on how wet the material is, it may scratch glass or acrylic very easily. Wet material tends to stick to things, such as your hands or the bucket, so you might have to clean up after. After the water is in the tank and settles, it is crystal clear and looks great! Plant roots are held together by its weight and once it is laid out in the direction you want it to look, it will stay in place. I am just so pleased with the way it looks in my 3 gallon tank even though it does not have the fine, sparkly sparkles that other substrates have. I am looking forward to having the plants, guppies, and ghost shrimp look wonderful after I cycle the tank! An area of 9 square feet was covered by a 5 pound bag. Measures 75 inches long by 8 inches wide. With a width of 75 inches and a depth of one inch in the front, it slopes to two inches in the back with some more room In the event that I set up another tank, I would definitely buy it again.

I think the price is far too high

The black sand I bought was $12 for five pounds. In my case, I noticed I needed more so I decided to purchase more from my local Pet Store. * Wow, was I in for a surprise! I found the exact same sand, but Topfin brand. A 5lb bag with the If you want to get a pet, try Petsmart or Petco, they're so much cheaper. It seems like I was taken advantage of.

Addition that is both beautiful and functional
5/5

It's so nice not to work with gravel anymore! The Oranda goldfish enjoy this sifting and scavenging process much more than gravel, which can collect waste and food in the bottom of their aquariums and become trapped in their mouths. As well as being able to catch sinking pellets, they are also able to reach overhead pellets. Using the Python, you can easily clean the sand and make it look great. Item to note It takes about a day for this sand to settle completely. It is best not to run the filters until the pieces stop floating since it may clog the propeller, especially HOB It's not the product's fault, but my otherwise excellent Aquaclear HOB occasionally stalls a year after it was installed due to sand bits that get into it (impossible to completely clean out of sponges, etc. ). There is no better gravel for goldfish than this!.

My fish tank is 25 gallons big, so this filter is perfect! Since quite some time, I have been on the lookout for sand that is not too light weight and is of a solid black color
5/5

A lot of sand is not made with quality in mind, so settling it in your tank can be difficult. Sand that I bought turn out to be the perfect sand for me with absolutely no problems! I just want to mention a few precautions If you are putting sand in with your fish and aquarium, you should always wash it before putting it in Let your tank sit without fish for a couple hours (while your filter is cycling) once you have placed the filter in it. Since the sand absorbs air so easily, some float to the top of the water but it cleans up in a short amount of time. I have a 25 gallon tank and need two bags. The photo shows only one so I reordered another.

This is such a gorgeous After washing in a pillowcase and running the hose for five minutes, let it dry. I'm so glad that the water cleared up so well! It's fantastic! I went and looked at it, and I love.

This black sand is the best I've ever seen
5/5

As I rinsed out the sand, I noticed that there was no tint to it This sand ended up at the bottom of the bucket It did not fog up my tank in any way when I used the bottle method to put it in. Bubbles that aren't yet at the top to give off a white head are responsible for the spots. There is no other black sand that offers the same amount of affordability and good looks as this!.

The plant aquarium is not recommended for beginners
3/5

I am a new aquarium hobbyist and I took this into consideration while reviewing the tank so that others who are new can
Overall the product is good and if you do not want live plants this is an excellent choice for substrate. In the event that you also want a planted aquarium, there are a few things you need 1.

It should not be used with plants that need to root in soil. It will not allow root structures to establish themselves since it becomes compact under water pressure (as does most sand). Please see 2. The tube of a gravel cleaner is very difficult to clean properly, as many gravel filters do not effectively keep sand out. In order to remove all the sand that accumulated in the hose, the valve on it had to be re-inserted.
