In short, yes. My hermit crab association and the groups I belong to suggest there be a 5 to 1 ratio of sand to eco with enough humidity for the tunnels to hold up

It sounds like hermit crabs are on vacation in the Bahamas with this sand! I was told that both of her crabs do the Bahamian dance every night in paradise. We will definitely be buying more of this sand!.
