As the name implies, this comes in a three-pack. As a result, you will receive only two packs, which means that 33 1/3% of your money is being stolen. The individual items are all fine and the reorganization is also fine. As such, they are exactly as you'd expect them to be, and if you purchase a single pack, you get (I hope) what you paid for, but if you purchase the 3-pack, you get even more It is unacceptable to get only two thirds of what you wanted from this pack. I am writing this review after I contacted the seller three days ago, but have not heard back from them.
These don't work the best on large exotic goldfish but should work great for smaller fish. For the price you are paying, they do reduce ammonia, but they do not last very long. Rather than buying an ammonia reducing filter pad from the pet store, you should actually buy the big $12 tray at the pet store and cut them down to size yourself. That way, you could probably get about 30 from the cut yourself ones.
As advertised, these are as good as they sound. I would recommend this filtration system because it is quiet and has a good value. Currently, I have a 55 gallon fresh water tank with four larger fish about 6" in size. According to my recent research, fish need more oxygen the larger they are. It's not pretty, but I did notice major improvements in the behavior of the fish after I installed a power head. As a result, you will have to clean the filter more often because the filtration system will work harder.
With this addition to my main Aqueon carbon filter, I can really feel the difference! To remove ammonia, you should use a sponge such as this one. pH levels have been checked with pH papers, and they are fine.
The item I chose is needed for the hob filter I have selected I use one of these and one carbon, unless I have ammonia spikes in which case I place two. It's better if you hold them angled very carefully when they're wet or they'll.
